My husband and I were celebrating our 27th wedding anniversary, and our favorite restaurant for steaks was closed that day. We are not ones for extravagant meals, so just a small local restaurant was all we really wanted. I wanted someplace that had a variety of dishes, from steak to sandwiches to pasta, to well everything! This place definitely met our needs! I had the Brisket sandwich, and it was so melt in your mouth it was mouth-watering! Fries were fresh cut and were cooked to perfection! Marissa took care of us and she was great at meeting our needs! It's a small place and probably gets pretty crowded and noisy on weekend nights since it is a bar, so keep that in mind. We were there on a Monday late afternoon, and it wasn't too bad. I'll definitely come back to try more of their menu!

Forgetting Work Even Exists Friday was AWESOME thanks to the staff of Barn and Barrel! Our waitress was spot on with our orders, without pen and paper, from memory. The food was fantastic. There were three other servers who continually checked to make sure we had what we needed and that our drinks were replenished! Thank you SO much.

Don’t judge this place by the outside or parking lot We almost turned around but glad we didn’t. The food and service were Amazing and all for a reasonable price. The Pulled pork special is definitely a must have and the wings perfectly done ! Marissa was pleasant, friendly and attentive. We will be back !

The Most remarkable thing that I can remember of our visit on 4/27/2024 at 1 PM, was the light clear Character of the oil used in cooking everything deep fried! No matter what came out of that kitchen, it was beautiful in appearance and taste! The result was no matter what we ordered, it was delicious, not greasy and rancid tasting like most Bar Food these days!!! We ordered onion rings and mushrooms for our appetizers! Superb! We also ordered their enormous chicken wings, Hamburger and Blue Cheese burger!!! Down right Delicious!!! I am in a walker, no problems parking, or using their high seating chairs !!! Only one Waitress, but she was amazing! Very efficient, but took time out to honor our every request! Atmosphere was very different in that it was a local bar, catering to the neighborhood clientele and appeared to be very friendly in most every way! The only thing that annoyed me was that coming from Elizabeth, there is no signs as to where to turn up Blaine Hill to get to the restaurant! but once we used our GPS, we found it was very easy to find the restaurant! If you want a Special Treat, a clean and different type kind of restaurant, food prepared by possibly the best cook or Chef in the Pittsburgh area, prepared to be blown away, I know we were and really look forward to...

Went for dinner, got the 12oz 30day aged Ribeye steak, was more like a steak for breakfast steak very thin for $26.95 . It was cold and bake potatoe was hard along with burnt onions and mushrooms. My husband had the Brisket sandwich, no flavor and regular BBQ sauce. It said Habernero Peach BBQ Sauce. The Brisket it self was very soft. His chili consisted of tomato sauce and just meat and no beans at all and no flavor he said he couldn't even taste any cumin in it and a couple hot peppers on the top. He did like the fries because they are fresh. I did like the taste of the steak and my salad was good. Our Servicer was very polite and understanding. Offered me new steak and potato I declined. Told her I would just take it home and put the steak in my salad. Was pleasant with her and I definitely would give her credit for being a great person. She took my steak off the bill and I said she didn't need to. I was not expecting her to or wanted her to. I know they just opened so I am hoping they get the kinks worked out. Again my service was great. I am giving 4 stars because the server went...

I only visited this place once. The menu wasn't very extensive but I wasn't looking for much anyway. I had some work to do in my email so was doing that after I ordered the chicken salad. This comes into my lack of attention later. While the salad was a pretty big salad, the chicken was slightly dry. Greens were fresh, dressing was good, cucumbers were huge. They still put pepperoncini peppers in their salads which is a plus. I ordered a beer while I was waiting on the chicken salad and the bartender refilled it before I could decline another when the food came. I drank it anyway since it was in front of me but she did it again when I wasn't looking for a 3rd time. (My fault, was answering emails) Some see that as good service, but I didn't want 2 beers, let alone 3. Especially since i just got off work and had to drive home. I didn't drink the 3rd, I left it. Paid for it anyway even tho she saw it still full when I asked for the bill. I'd probably eat here again if I'm this way again, but I wouldn't order the chicken salad and I'll pay attention the next time so I'm not getting drinks...
