Hearthside is the real deal! I was looking for high quality hand crafted furniture, and this is it! I found Hearthside by doing research online. I called and spoke with Chris, who was super friendly and professional. Chris answered all of my questions and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Chris made the buying process very easy, and he communicated clearly with me via email and over the phone. He also explained some of the more nuanced details (types of wood, stain choices etc.) in easy to understand terms. Thank You Chris!

I wholeheartedly recommend Hearthside furniture! Nine years ago, I bought my old furniture from a discount store here in Lancaster. I was never happy with the quality. So this time when it was time to replace the worn out sofa, I wanted to get something that would last and be something that I was proud of. My wife and I literally went to every furniture store in the area and sat on every couch. Hands-down, the most comfortable couch to me and my wife was an L shaped sofa at Hearthside. Chris was there with all the answers, he was professional and courteous. He helped us configure the sofa that we really wanted, and we had no qualms about purchasing from him. I placed an order with Hearthside and I was required to pay 1/2 down of a total of $2600. When it arrived, the finish was not as expected and we did not want the table and chairs. They did not want to try and refinish to make us happy, there only solution if we did not want it was a 50% restocking fee which is ridiculous, so when I did not agree to the 50% fee the manager said how about a 25% restocking fee. I also declined and filed a grievance with my credit card company which was a total waste of my time. We are very unhappy how we were treated over this transaction and I ended paying a restocking fee of $625. Buyer beware of their policy which is not posted nor was I informed of this policy if I did not take the item...
