I really wanted to enjoy this place after seeing great reviews, but I had the same poor experience twice, years apart. 4 years ago my husband and I arrived during breakfast hours but there was a bit of a wait. We happily waited and wanted to order once we were seated. We were handed lunch and dinner menus and told that the menu had switched over while we were waiting and we could no longer order the foods we wanted to. The waitress basically said we were SOL. We swore off the place for the next 4 years due to this poor customer experience. Then, this weekend we decided to give it another chance! From what I could tell, they had stepped up their menu offerings and it looked delicious! Again, there was a wait when we showed up at 10:30am but we were happy to wait. We were seated at 11am on the dot and again, was handed the lunch and dinner menus. We asked our waiter about the switch over and he told us we had just missed it, even though the only reason we missed it was because of their own waiting times. We were about to walk out without ordering when the waiter talked to the manager. We were somewhat accommodated but were still told there were items we could not have. I’m just not sure why the customer would be punished for showing up within the breakfast hours, but the restaurant’s own wait times are the reason we missed the menu switch over.
To be clear, nowhere on their website do they state that the breakfast specials menu switches over at 11. Many of the reviews are misleading because they say “breakfast all day” but they don’t mention that you can only get eggs and pancakes after 11.
After all of this, the food is diner quality. It’s fine, not great. The best part of my meal was the cold brew bourbon mocha that was delicious and strong! However, since this poor customer service seems to be a regular occurrence, it has solidified that we will not be returning. Too many good brunch spots have opened in the last few years around Lititz that doesn’t make this place worth the time. Sorry, I really wanted to give this place...

We waited for our table for about 25 minutes after arriving. We didn't have reservations. The time passed quickly.
Medi was our server who greeted us as when sat down and took our drink orders while we perused the large menu. Much to my father's delight, they serve breakfast all day, and breakfast is his favorite meal!
Medi came back with our coffee's: Dad got the house roast and I ordered the Wilbers Chocolate Roast Coffee, and then he took our breakfast orders. Dad ordered 3 eggs over lightly, a ham steak, an order of hash browns and rye toast. I ordered a western omelet with cheddar cheese, tomatoes and mushrooms, along with hash browns, English muffins, and a side order of breakfast sausages. Medi returned a few minutes later to tell us they were out of the popular hash browns, but he offered some other tasty recommendations which we settled on instead.
Within 15 minutes our fully-loaded platters arrived with our orders and we immediately dug in as we were hungry! And yes, it was as tasty as it looked and there was plenty of it!! I attached a picture of my partially eaten breakfast below. I forgot to take a picture when it first arrived. 🤭 Sorry about that! Yes, it was a lot of food! Dad managed to finish his breakfast and some of mine went home in a doggie bag which I enjoyed the next day.
Medi was very attentive and kept refilling our coffee mugs when they ran low. He was also quite personable and we truly enjoyed having him as our server, as he made the whole experience fun for us!
If you go here on a weekend morning, expect to wait. This place is busy on the weekends, but the waits always seem to go quickly. There is a seated waiting area on the front porch and they give you a pager to let you know when your table is ready. On a nice day there are also places to sit outside or other shops to wander through while...
Read moreUpdate Nov 2024 Stopped by again, oddly enough again on a Monday evening. Food was very good and nice atmosphere. I tried a chicken bread smothered with bacon, mushrooms onion and cheese - very good. The potatoes again were mediocre - they were potato spears with chili seasoning, but the were tough and barely warm. My wife got the piled High roast beef with stuffing and potatoes - very good. Great place, but oddly poor French fries. Stopped by for supper on a Monday evening after 7. The atmosphere is great. Rustic looking place, lots of wood, just pleasant looking place. Service was friendly and good. My wife got the chicken tender Parm hoagie. She said it was really good, nice crispy roll, good chicken, cheesey. I got the deluxe smokey mountain burger. It was a bit odd that it included a berry jam, but I figured I'd try it the way it was on the menu. It also had bacon, smoked cheddar and tomatoes, onion, pickles and lettuce (because it was deluxe). The burger was really, really good. Great brioche bun that did not fall apart, yet was still tender. Burger had a great flavor and the bacon was very flavorful and crisp. The jam added a nice dimension, I wouldn't have thought, but it was good on it. Portions were very large. But now the one very real and very odd problem. The fries. Both my fries and my wife's were just bad. They were maybe warm at best (not hot). They were soggy. It almost seemed like we got the leftover fries that hadn't sold. There was a mountain of them, but they just weren't good. Which left me both disappointed and confused because the rest of the food was so good. So, the fries actually lost them a star in the review. Fair chance we'll go back. I will...
