BEST SERVICE! MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF! Went yesterday evening for what I thought was a fruit fly problem - both at my home & my Mom's. Luckily, a gentleman (I believe possibly an owner?) came by and offered his help. He suggested a natural drain/pipe cleaner to treat "sewer flies" (he told me they lay eggs in the gunk coating pipes & the cleaner would "eat" the gunk). A new one for me - never heard of such a thing - but I was desperate & willing to try anything. I bought two bottles of the product, and followed his instructions, treating the sinks/drains before going to bed. OMGoodness - I awoke this morning, and I have seen one tiny fly. ONE! I can't wait to go home and treat my own drains!!! Honestly - I had been feeling terribly guilty, thinking that I was somehow being "unclean/dirty" to bring these tiny flies into both homes. Now I feel so relieved - wasn't me, it was the gunk/funk! Thank-you, kind Sir, from the bottom of my fly-free homes!!! This is a great hardware with a friendly, knowledgeable staff. Every time I am in this store, I am approached by multiple staff members, asking me if they can be of help. You don't get that in big name commercial stores. Apart from the staff, they have a wide variety of anything you could need. The convenience of being close to home is great, especially when you forget something and need to go back to pick something up. The only reason I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars is due to the fact that everything is a little more expensive, but that is expected, which for the convenience and friendly staff, I don't mind, for small projects. And also because they are closed on Sundays and I work alot of hours a week and sometimes Sunday is the only day I have to get things done around the house. But that is also expected with small businesses. Which again, I don't mind, but others may find that an inconvenience. All in all, great hardware....

I have been shopping R C Walters’ store for over 30 years now and I have never, ever been disappointed when I left the store. First let me say that R C Walter & Sons True Value has those impossible to find items that you never see in the big box stores (Lowe’s, Home Depot,etc.) Their sales staff are over the top knowledgeable in most every home improvement you can come up with. I know they service a plethora of commercial businesses but they always take the time to help out and advise their independent homeowner customers. The last thing I need to mention is that not only can you trust the great quality of the merchandise you buy there but you can always trust that the next time you need something, you will think of Tom or Matt or any of their staff to help you out with most often with the perfect answer to your needs!
