Amazing Service and Incredible Food from Michael's Backyard BBQ!

Michael's Backyard BBQ was an absolute lifesaver at our event! From the start, they were prompt and respectful of our schedule. We had two food trucks planned, but unfortunately, the second one was completely unprepared to handle the crowd of 100 guests. Michael, being the consummate professional, immediately stepped up and adapted to the situation. Not only did he manage his own flow with ease, but he also picked up the slack and accommodated way more guests than initially expected.

His quickness, attention to detail, and ability to stay on his feet was truly impressive. And let’s not forget the food – the smoked wings were INCREDIBLE! This food truck comes by my place in Weehawken frequently. I was looking forward to trying a meal here but was left disappointed. I ordered a half pound wagyu burger which was supposed to come with 'beef, pepperjack cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, housemade BBQ sauce' as per the menu displayed on the truck and also on the website. Unfortunately my order was missing the lettuce, tomato and onions. The beef patty tasted pretty good but it was quite greasy and the burger was soggy as a result. I love supporting local business, especially veteran owned, but felt disappointed that I didn't get what I fully paid for, especially given it was a pricey ~ $20...

WOW. There are not enough words to say how wonderful it was having Michaels Backyard BBQ cater our summer party for our landscape team. It was so easy to contact Michael and schedule. He was very helpful with putting together a menu for our crews and flexible. Everyone is full and so happy!
