I had the worst experience ever at an office, and I am a doctor myself. I transferred care from out of state and am still working on getting my previous imaging, which the clinic was aware of when they booked my appointment. When they called me yesterday to confirm my appointment, they did not request any paperwork except for a script from my doctor for an ultrasound in addition to the mammogram. I went in this morning, checked in 15' before my appointment, and waited 1 hour before the nurse called me to go back (they told me they were waiting on the ultrasound script, even though they could have done the mammogram while I was waiting.). The nurse/tech sat me down in a room and said that they did not have any of my previous records, reports, or imaging, and the radiologist wouldn't see me without my previous records. I asked why nobody asked for the records the day before or while I was waiting, and she kept saying that "I" should have asked THEM what is required to bring (what?!) and "I" am responsible for bringing the records. She had me wait 1 hour before telling me I wasted a whole morning and they couldn't see me today. Absolutely unacceptable! She didn't even apologize that she had me waiting, and nobody did their due diligence to let me know they didn't have my records beforehand. When I told her that you should have said to me on the phone yesterday when you were confirming the appointment or this morning when I came in before they had me wait for a freaking hour, she kept gaslighting me by telling me that it was my fault, "let's do it right next time" and "all of our patients come prepared." I left fumed and am not going...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy mother just returned from the university radiology in Elizabeth and had the worst experience. A older woman named Mary who works there was so nasty and rude she needs to be counciled on customer service. She gave her such a hard time at every turn and was trying to get her to go to the Edison location, from Elizabeth instead of just helping her. Another woman asked my mother is she was being helped and since this Mary had her paperwork my mother said yes she is and this Mary just said ānoā my mother told her if you arenāt helping me why donāt you just tell me that so she doesnāt waste her time. Another woman whose name she didnāt get unfortunately finally stepped in to help and was very nice. My mother told her, said loud enough for this Mary lady to hear, if you would have helped me from the beginning everything would have been so different, she smiled and nodded acknowledging the rudeness from Mary, signaling to me that she has this reputation. If anyone from the office actually reads this please send this woman to HR...
