My husband and I moved from the area about 20 years ago. Our favorite restaurant at that time was La Ramanda restaurant. The owners were gracious, humble and the food was top notch! Fast forward, my husband and I were in the area and had a nostalgic feeling for Columbian food. We ordered the Picada. You could feed 4 adults on this one order. I didn't take a pic but it was a lot of food. It was and still is one of our favorite dishes. Anna and Bryan were great! They both waited on us and were very attentive. The bartender, also named Bryan was super attentive. I ordered a spicy Margarita, extra spicy and he tailored my drink to my liking He stopped by and wanted to make sure I was happy with my drink. Customer service was top notch, food was in abundance and delicious and the atmosphere was great!! I highly recommend.

Was recommended to go here by a Colombian friend. Finally tried it last night and boy we were full! We ordered empanadas colombianes/colombian empanadas (not pictured since they were already in our tummies), arepa pabellón/corn cake stuffed with beef, cheese, avocado, sweet plantain & black beans, entraña a la parilla/grilled skirt steak and bandeja paisas/grilled steak, rice, beans, sausage, fried pork skin, egg, avocado, sweet plantain & corn cake. I have to say, I think they have the best bandeja paisas that I’ve tried so far. Just a side note, if you are non-Spanish speaking, there might be a slight language barrier. It’s not a big deal though because their menu has English translation. Other than that, the food was great! I still wish they had pan de bono/Colombian cheese bread when we went though - I love those!

Andrea C. Was Amazing!!! She was so attentive and very easy to work with. My Spanish is not so great, yet she made me feel like it was no problem at all!!! She brought out EVERYTHING I asked for and never hesitated to check on me multiple times. I loved that she made me feel like I was at home regardless of the language barrier!!! Food was fresh and abundant! Margaritas were DELICIOUS!! Actually felt like I tasted the alcohol. I Will definitely return and ask for ANDREA!! She was a DOLL!!!!!! Thank you forgata!!!

I WENT ON MAY 22 2024 WITH A GROUP OF FRIENDS AFTER A LONG DAY AT THE ZOO, I SUGGESTED THE RESTAURANT BECAUSE IVE BEEN GOING HERE FOR YEARS. THERE EMPANADAS ARE THE BEST IN ELIZABETH. SADLY TODAY WAS THE DAY WERE THEY HAD ME VERY UPSET.. IM 6 MONTHS PREGNANT AND ORDERED 2 EMPANADAS AND A BANDEJA PAISA, ONCE I WAS ALMOST DONE EATING MY EMPANADA I TASTED SOMETHING SUPER HARD TO EVEN BITE DOWN ON. WHEN I TAKE OUT THE HARD PIECE TURNS OUT IT WAS A GLASS ACRYLIC TYPE OF MATERIAL. I SHOW IT TO THE WAITER AND SHE TAKES TO THE KITCHEN AND DOESN'T COME UNTILL SHE GIVES THE CHECK. ME HOPING THEY GIVE MY MY 2 EMPANADAS AND BANDEJA NO CHARGE FOR SUCH A HUGE HAZARD THAT WAS!!! BUT ALL THEY DO IS DISCOUNT 1 EMPANADA. I THINK FOR A RESTAURANT WITH 4.3 STARS THEY WOULD TO OFFER MORE OF A SORRY FROM THE MANAGER ITSELF, AND A DISCOUNT OR ENTREE FREE. BUT HONESTLY IT WAS JUST SO UPSETTING AND I CAN SAY THEY WILL NOT BE GETTING MY SERVICE AGAIN NOR WILL I BE RECOMMENDING THIS SPOT FOR BEING...

A great Colombian restaurant. Try the empanadas if your there, chicken or beef, you can't go wrong. There cheap and filling. If you are there for dinner or lunch it is worth it to ask them for their special, since it is relatively cheap and is made to order, so they are usually pretty quick. Their specials change everyday, and usually its a soup (it varies and sometimes you might have two different options, like on weekends) and a plate of "dry" food, usually rice, with a choice of meat (ranging from chicken, cow, or pork cooked in Colombian style), and choice of beans or salad. You can ask for extra sides or order straight off the menu. If you are craving bread, they also have a great selection in their small bakery section. Try their Pandebonos, with Coffee if you want a quick bite, or want something...
