Farmer John's Produce — Local services in Elizabethton

Well I loved there watermelon there the best ones in Elizabethton . So the next month when I got my E.b.T. yeah I was going to get me another one. I was told that they accepted E.b.T. But wasn't sure never asked until I had finished getting what I needed. Would not you no it they quit that along time ago But God really blessed me that day when farmer John told me that and that I could go Head and have it. And don't forget my watermelon. I couldn't believe it I was a little embarrassed. There not a lot of merchant s that would think of doing such a nice thing like that these days I hope God blesses his family . Been 3 years and I still refuse to set foot in there. Him and his wife are very hateful rude people. But he is the worst. He had ordered me some beets from somewhere else cause they were out.They called and I went to put them up. I swear they were the size of turnips or bigger. I wouldn’t take them. And had already paid him for them. He got very mad and him and his wife was awfully rude to me and a friend. He didn’t care if I was unhappy with them or that I lost money. It's over priced, and the owners are rude. We've been a few times, I like to buy local honey. I use a lot of it, so I thought farmer johns was a great place to go. Each time my husband and I walk through the door, they follow us around like we're going to steal something. Every time. It's infuriating to be treated like a thief. Idk if it's just us, but I truly believe this place gets good reviews because it's a small town thing and people just do it because everyone else is doing it.
