Farmer White's — Local services in Elk Rapids Township

I think I saw an ad on Facebook and saw the Pi Tee shirt. I am a Greek for that! So I looked the place up and stopped in on the weekend.

It is a small place, next to their home. BUT... do not let that stop you!! I recommend this place. The son, who rang us out, was very friendly.

The baked goods, 👀 Wow! My daughter loved that they offered $1 donuts that were smaller because donuts are too sweet for her taste buds - these were the perfect size. She tried the lemon and loved the lemony filling. The frosted glaze was sweet, but because the size was smaller it did not bother her. She enjoyed it very much.

We got a box of oatmeal cookies, YUM. They were bite size, soft, and full of flavor.

There were jars of peaches, a wall of jams, a counter of stuffed olives, and a lot of other stuff.

I will definitely be back for a pie. See...

Oh how I love Farmer Whites! It's a Michigan tradition to get Cider and Donuts come Fall. But Farmer whites is a new experience all together. A lot of orchards have big ol' stops that are crowded, and packed.

Farmer Whites, has a small lil street side shop, by their home. The moment you walk in you can smell the fresh baked donuts and pies, it makes your mouth water. The Whites, are the most lovely couple ever, i honestly wish they were my grandparents, lol. They are so cute!

I look forward to picking out a pie and fresh fruit each Saturday at Farmer White’s stand at Harbor Springs farm market. Yesterday, , I was delighted to see peach pies on display. As I was buying a peach pie I asked why it was more expensive than Farmer White’s other pies. The reply was, “it take a lot longer to make, peeling peaches… five people work on each pie. I cut two slices of the pie for my husband and me last night after dinner. The pie was wonderful. The crust was flaky. The peaches were plentiful and delicious. I’m still thinking about the pie this morning and that’s why I’m writing...
