Hello, my name is Tiernan Killmade. My father and I came into Home Depot Ellisville today to buy about 800 dollars of lumber. My father, Tom, has been working in customer service for over 45 years, and currently owns 2 businesses of his own. Similarly, I have been working as his assistant within his businesses since a very young age. We recently started the large project- making a new chicken coop from scratch. I am new to this kind of craftsmanship, so i needed a lot of help. Luckily, i asked a man named Erik for help. He quickly obliged, and helped me to figure out the exact amount of lumber i needed, the type of lumber i needed, where that lumber could be found, and how that lumber should be cut to fit my measurements. Not only was he incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, he helped me to be frugal and not waste product or money. given the bulk i was purchasing in, this was greatly appreciated. However, Erikās shift was ending so he passed me off to Kyle who works in lumber. Kyle proceeded to work with me and help me for over two hours all while being incredible patient and kind with me. He helped me correct many beginner mistakes i was making, saving me an untold amount of money and time. Of all the customer service I have seen in my years working in retail these two fine gentlemen are some of best customer service representatives i have ever worked with. They were patient and knowledgeable and helped a beginner like me get what i needed while saving me time and money. Both my father and I had an excellent experience in the store, especially with these two staff members. Because of this experience, we will absolutely be coming back to purchase more product for future projects we have planned. Thank you so much, and my absolute highest regards to these two workers.

When the guy arrived he seemed very unhappy to be at our house and said he didn“t really have time to measure. When we told him we also would need the hallway measured and an empty square screened porch we are enclosing he said he didn“t have enough time and he left. We called the store to complain and they rescheduled us for three days later. We had indicated we did not want the same guy (he never told us his name; very personable). We were told they would send someone else. Three days later Home Depot called and said he was in the driveway. We have a working doorbell and he never rang or knocked. Then the store said he had left and would be back in half an hour. It was the same guy as the first failed measure and he never showed because he knew we were upset so the coward just stood us up. Twice we waited for a measure and have yet to have any service. We are doing a lot of renovation and would have spent in excess of $20,000 at their store. I know that is chump change to a giant like Home Depot but they won“t be getting my $20,000. I can only imagine how the installation would have gone, disastrous I assume. Ā Ā Ā Read moreinitially i would have said great service. went to purchase a patio set. the system said there was one in the store. after 3 or 4 of us walked all over the store without any luck, the manager said there was another on a shipment in the next day. if we paid in advance we could get it and they would hold until Monday since we were going out of town. we would get an email notifying the shipment was received well Monday comes and no email. we get a call that it is here and when can we puck it up. i go and pick it up and it is already assembled which usually would not be a problem except making it a challenge to load in the truck without scratching the paint since it isn't in a box. get home and find the he bolt caps were not installed. go back to the store and ask about the caps and told the assemblers just pitch them in the trash. talk with someone who represents as a supervisor and said its a floor model. which shouldn't have been the case since it wasn't in the store on Wednesday and if it was assembled it would have been easy to find. he said it would be best to contact Hampton Bay. they sell an incomplete product and tell me to take care of it myself. the finish doesnt...
