With first tried going there about a week ago we ordered at the window it was around 7:30 and when we got to the window I was told they do not take cash as payment because their register or whatever was broke. Even though our food was ready to hand through the window, we left because all we had was Cash leaving the order there. I own a few businesses myself and I never refuse cash no matter what. I want there this evening December 8th about 5:30 6:00 and when inside this time. Once again this time I only had cash as well assuming since it was a week later their machine would be functioning. I saw no sign posted that they do not accept cash at this time. I placed my order and went to pay and once again was told they did not accept cash. I requested the manager and the young lady at the checkout ask for a manager and a Oriental looking lady walked up and said what the problem was I told her I want to pay cash and she said it was not her store she was only there helping out so she requested another lady and that lady looked at me perplexed so I helped her out and told her I have cash exact change. She told her employee to go ahead and accept it and I left. It's a couple of hours later after we tried to eat what I had purchased. And boy was it horrible, I hope the trash man can pick it up? Because that's where it went. I'm laying on my couch eating Pepto-Bismol tablets. I would suggest anyone that visits that location to run and not walk away from it. The young people working there we're definitely confused about what was in the food and had to turn and ask someone else what was in it but could not answer either. They seemed like they were trying to keep busy and working I will give them that. Read moreUPDATE 09/15/24: Thought I'd give it another try. I should have read the recent reviews. I almost feel sorry for the employees. It really is bad. Placed an order online. Was not ready when stated- twenty minutes past- and the drive through was not that busy. One vehicle got tired of waiting and left even. I ordered Diet Coke for my drink- was told at the window they were out- what?!!!! The only diet soda and out during dinner?!!!! Requested then an unsweetened tea- received a fully sweet raspberry tea!!!!! Ordered beef broccoli- told at window they only had it frozen and could not make it. I appreciated being able to select another entree, but this was during dinnertime. I didn't get the sauces I ordered either- par for the course. I ended up doing something I never do- I pitched half of food and 3/4 of the drink. I basically pitched $13.00. So this was/will be my last visit to the Truman Rd. location.
First time at this new location and rather disappointing. While the customer service via the drive thru was attentive and courteous the food was lacking- literally. I have been to other locations, so I know what a normal portion size entree plate should be. I knew something was up when the take out container felt so light. Beef broccoli- where's the beef? Read moreOne of my biggest (if not THE biggest) pet peeves is getting my order wrong. I will never understand how food places so often fail at such a foundational task for a business that sells their expertise in food.
That said, on 10/25, made an order via mobile app. Second order within a week (place is like 5 mins away). I redeemed some points to upgrade from the big plate to the bigger plate (basically 3 entrees instead of 2).
Guess what? To my not so surprise, the kung pao chicken was missing entirely. Yep. That's a 50% failure rate on orders since I've downloaded the app.
So I sent a customer request via the app, and other than an email telling me they are backed up, I've heard nothing back.
So this business over-promises, underdelivers and expects my complaint to go away? Actually yes. I don't plan on spending another dime there. I cannot fathom their inability to provide any degree of customer service.
