Thatâs what I read in their reviews, thatâs what I heard from those in town and from those out of town. Some people drive over 300 miles just to find a vehicle at Quinn Motors. Others, like me, sometimes need help getting to the dealership or having vehicles dropped off after purchases have been made and Quinn is fantastic at helping in those situations.
My first purchase in 2020 went smoothly. I was a college student at the time and it was my intention to purchase a used vehicle I had been eyeing up on the lot. The vehicle had just sold, but Meghan worked with me to find another vehicle I may like that they had on the lot or offered to help me find something they maybe didnât have yet. Meghan helped me choose something within my budget, was patient with me as I figured out the financing portion, and furthermore made sure that I felt safe and comfortable with the vehicle and the purchase. Meghan and her team are sharp. They never push hard to just make the sale. Theyâre honest. No added fees from the dealership, no pushy salespeople. In fact they have discounts for those who are in the Military AND for college students!
This year, 2025, My vehicle was involved in a total loss accident. As a single parent now this was less than ideal. Waiting to hear from insurance, trying to find a new vehicle, and not having a lot of extra help when it comes to getting out to a dealership to test drive new vehicles, or even purchase one, was difficult. I stopped in at a few dealerships around the twin cities and many of the places I went the people there tried pushing me into a vehicle that was over budget or not a vehicle I was even interested in. Not Quinn motors though. No, I emailed a couple of times letting Meghan and her team know what happened with my vehicle and my experience at these other places. I also informed them of my budget, some more information about what vehicle I was looking at, and that I was having trouble with insurance getting back to me on everything. Dylan got back to me and helped me figure out a time that I could try to come test drive. He communicated with me the afternoon of to make sure it would still work out. And he communicated that Trevor would be there when I got there to assist me with the test drive and grabbing more information from me. There was not a single hassle from them.
When I got out to Ellsworth to test drive it was around 5pm (Quinn closes at 6pm). Trevor was ready with the keys when I walked in and the car was pulled up right next to the building. Meghan and Charlie also came over and talked with me for a bit. When I got back from test driving the car I let them know that I was interested but stuck in a bind with being able to make the initial down payment right then and there. They said no problem, they held the car far a bit longer and communicated with me through the week to see what the plan was. I was able to get in touch with them later the next week and proudly let them know Iâd be able to purchase the car. Dylan walked me through what they needed for running the financing on the vehicle and by Monday morning we had it figured out! I let Dylan know that I had a rental vehicle that needed to be returned in Hudson first. It took less than 5 minutes before I got a call back from Dylan telling me when someone would be there to pick me up. So, I returned the rental and right on time Donnie was there to pick me up! When we got to Ellsworth, the car was already pulled around to the front and was nice and clean. During signing, Meghan came in and again was very kind and thanked me for coming out to Ellsworth again and trusting them. Went out to the car and they had water and Fresh Ellsworth Cheese curds in the car for me! âOnce you buy from Quinn, you tend to stick with Quinnâ THIS IS WHY.    Read moreThis past weekend I purchased a vehicle from Quinn Motors in Ellsworth. I have been car shopping for about the last two months with other dealerships and have had nothing but bad experiances. We went to numerous car dealerships and nothing compares to Quinn Motors! Dealing with other dealerships I would ask the same questions regarding the vehicle, any scratches/dents, has the vehicle been smoked in, etc. all of the other dealerships would tell me it is a great vehicle and I needed to come and look at it right away. I would go to the other dealership and the vehicle would be full of scratches/dents and nothing like what I was looking for. In the past, I have purchase all of my previous cars from Quinn and I should have called Meghan first before going anywhere else. It would have saved me a lot of time and stress. Every other dealership we walked into we didn't feel the care that the sales people have. We would leave the dealership and both say, "it's not Quinn Motors". Meghan and her staff care about their customers! We never felt pressured to buy anything. I saw online that Quinn Motors had a Chevy Traverse and it was exactly what I was looking for. I called Meghan and she knew the history of the vehicle, even went outside (in the freezing cold), walked around the vehicle and sent me pictures of any little scratch or dent she could find (there were very few). We knew exactly what we were going to be looking at before we even left our house! Trust me when I say, there is no other dealership like Quinn Motors! They treat their customers as people and care about them! I didn't feel like "just another sale.â Another added bonus, if you buy your car from Quinn Motors and want to trade it in a few years later, Meghan will remember you and she will remember exactly what you drive! She will remember everything about you and your family! She treats you more as a friend than someone there to just buy a car. I recently got the opportunity to experience the âfront sideâ of the desk as a potential customer at several dealerships. My wife and I had decided it was time for a replacement towing vehicle for our camper, and researched vehicles on-line. Set on the size and type of vehicle that would work for us, we ventured forth and experienced several âstandardizedâ sales processes. All were disappointing, frustrating and some were just rude and insulting. But then⌠We called Meghan at Quinn Motors of Ellsworth. I explained our situation and asked who she would like us to work with there. âWell, me of course!â, she replied. We set an appointment; test drove a vehicle, reviewed the âno-nonsenseâ values/numbers and decided that it really wasnât the right vehicle/deal for us. âBut waitâ she indicated, âI have one coming in on trade that might work well for youâ she told us and promised to let us know when that happened. Fast forward a few weeks⌠I get a call from Meghan that the trade had happened. We set an appointment to look at it, even before the intake processing had been completed, and told her that it would work perfectly for us. During the following week, the vehicle was inspected, updated, detailed, and readied for us to accept delivery. We want to thank Meghan and everyone at Quinn Motors of Ellsworth for taking all the time we needed, never giving up on gaining us as customers, and allowing the sales process to be tailored to our needs. We truly felt like family in the way we were treated and my faith in auto retail has been restored. Quinn Motors has gained a customer for life and we feel that we have gained some friends.
