Family Dollar — Local services in Eloy

Hardly ever has anything I need in stock. I’m not sure why we needed 3 dollar stores on the same block to begin with really, but this one is my least favorite of the three. Once I went, and the majority of the freezer section was down, but instead of just tossing what melted, they tried to mark it down to sell gloopy liquid ice creams.

The fact they close early as heck too doesn’t help anyone living in our rural town either. For the most part, when people are in a pinch, they run to one of the dollar stores to see if they can get what they need without having to go all the way to Casa grande to shop and half the time I’ve needed to do that, they are already closed for the night.

The last time I made a stop there, it was because the dollar general was out of helium, (but their balloons were prettier) so I bought one anyway thinking I could just pay for the helium elsewhere. Well Family Dollar is the only place that actually carries helium of the three dollar stores in az city but they would not fill my balloon even after I offered to pay for two of their most expensive balloons to just have my one small balloon filled. Cleaner than Dollar General, more welcoming, and more stocked than them as well, I'm not constantly tripping over boxes in the middle of aisles or searching through piles of stuff just thrown on a shelf like Dollar General. The employees are always comforting and make you feel as though your friend of their own they have known for years I always love coming in and seeing Dylan as he is always friendly and extremely helpful he usually tells a joke to put a smile on my face mid conversation, he is always eager to ensure my shopping experience is one to remember! Great addition to our little community of Arizona City. Organized and room to walk. Had items i was glad i wouldn't have to go all the way into Casa Grande for. One thing i did notice when elderly woman wrestling w/ grocerycart and having to push the door open as she exited, it would have been nice to have self opening doors for our more senior population. Liked the parking but still some little car almost backed into me w/o my automatic camera and buzzer going off. Love the 2 exits.
