Ocean Reef — Local services in Emerald Isle

The management or Owner of the room we stayed in, forgot to pay the electric bill. So half way through our stay we had a night with no power, the maintenance men (two) that were sent were really unprepared and had no tools or Keys! to even fix the problem. We questioned weather they even worked for the company considering they had no keys to the basement or doors. After calling the office again in the dark. My family was told we could stay at the Island Resort right down the street but they didn't mention we'd be paying for that as well. After the power was turned on we got a very small refund that only cover the one night but didn't cover the cost of food waisted and plans ruined. I would highly recommend finding a different place to stay...

We've rented here several times and love the area, but we won't be back due to a certain individual who lives in the complex. We'll just call her "Karen". She has no problem coming on to your rented property to hassle you and make sure you are "following the rules". She loves to make your business her business. We rented R7B2 Ocean Reef. Condo was nice and beautiful views and location. Enjoyed our stay. The only negatives are i wish it had more comfortable updated furniture and the dining room chairs were pretty much broken to sit in. Also a high top table and high chairs for deck would be nice to enjoy the views better. You spend most of the time on the deck so not to sit low and look through railings would be nice.
