Sandal Factory — Local services in Emerald Isle

I visited Sandals Factory in Emerald Isle on Thursday at 6:10 PM, only to find that the storefront hours stated they closed at 6—despite the lights still being on inside. I returned the next day, Friday, at 5:05 PM, only to see an employee (possibly the owner) turn off the open sign as we were walking up and reaching for the door. She apologized, stating she was just about to leave, and mentioned they would open again at 9 AM the next day. Unfortunately, the online hours do not match the posted storefront hours. After reading other reviews, it seems this lack of consistency and hospitality may not be an isolated incident. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this business—customer service and reliability appear to be low...

Decided to stop on our way home and arrived a little after 9, we doubled checked the time to be sure they were open but they weren’t. The 4 for $10 tshirts go fast, but they are good about calling customers and letting them know when a delivery will be made so you can go back. They'll even pick out the shirts for you and hold them if you're not choosey. Also, you get what you pay for.
