I have been shopping at Marshall's in Emerson N.J since it's grand opening seven or eight years ago. I can safely say (no joke) that I am there no less than 4-5 times a week. Anyone who knows me knows that I can usually be found there at some point throughout the day. The store is always neat and organized. I never have difficulty finding what I need. This is not the case at the the majority of Marshall's or TJ Maxx's I've shopped in. In fact, it's usually the complete opposite. They are so disorganized and all over the place that I just turn around and walk out the door. The last thing I want to feel is stressed out and anxious when I walk into a store. I hear so many people say it's the sole reason they refuse to shop there. It's too chaotic for them. My reply to them is always the same - "Not at my Marshall's." They run a tight ship there and it shows. Never any clothes lying on the ground under the clothes rack like a slew of others I've shopped at in the past. Nighat, Veronica, Mary, Luce and another lovely lady whose name escapes me at this moment and it's killing me that I can't remember because she's just as wonderful as the rest - (she's a little more part time than the other's, usually in the afternoon, located at the second to last register . Which now reminds me of the lady next to her at the third to last register whose name I've all of a sudden forgotten!!!) I hate to leave anyone out because well, they are all wonderful!! Everyone who works on the floor...in the dressing rooms...I can go on and on and on. I just wanted to thank you guy's for making shopping such a pleasure as well as applaud you all for a job consistantly well done. Bravo Emerson...
Read moreI love going to Marshalls here, it’s clean and organized, but I’m writing my review on the employees there. I brought my toddlers there this morning and right in front of them, two employees are literally bullying an older employee while she’s working. She was restocking the kid’s toy section but the two come up and harass her about not organizing the clothing area. She said she’d do it in an hour cause her back was hurting. The other two employees basically made fun of her and asking how restocking the toy area doesn’t hurt her back. Said they’d be back in exactly one hour to make sure she’s organizing the clothes. Honestly, if they have time to complain about it, why don’t the two of them work on it? And did they really have to be that unprofessional in front of customers let alone, kids who were watching them cause they were making a scene? We won’t be coming back here because I’m literally disgusted in how they treat others that way. Shame on the...
