Twilight Cards & Games — Local services in Enfield

Been going to this store as a local player for a year and some months now. I can honestly say Dave and Lynn do their best everyday to manage an amazing community of card players from a vast majority of Japanese inspired card games. The store is yes a little small but the heart and souls put into this store form the owners and community is astoundingly huge. This is a store you go to to have fun and enjoy playing rounds with no drama and no feelings of judgement. People come here to have a great time with their respective card communities. There always people playing and even better if you’re interested in a card game but unsure if you want to invest (depending on the game!) they have trial decks for you to use and to learn to play the game. I will continue to come and support this store as it has given me a place that just feels like home away from home. Again Lynn and Dave do their best everyday for us and when they make a mistake they own it and make sure to give back to the community to make not it only worth your buck but worth the time to be there and feel apart of the growing community they have. Second Floor Gaming is hands down one of the best trading card shops I’ve ever been to. Their selection is incredible—whether you’re into Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, Dragon Ball Super, One Piece, Weiss Schwarz, Hololive, Star Wars or even the new Gundam TCG which is now a favorite of mine. The store is small but organized, which makes it easy to find exactly what you’re looking for. Husband-and-wife owners and staff are super knowledgeable, friendly, and always happy to answer questions or give recommendations. You can tell they genuinely care about the community and the games they sell when they ask you to return anytime and tell them what you think. The atmosphere is welcoming too—it’s not just a shop, it feels like a hub for collectors and players. It’s even in the old location of the TILT arcade at the mall I used to work at. Their discord has announcements for weekly locals competition, tournaments and even pre-orders before the big box stores receive them. I cane across Second Floor Games at the beginning of the year. It was an instant fit for me. The shop vibes were what I needed in my life. You like pokemon? Well here is the place to chat about it! What's even better is that it isn't just pokemon, there are other topics, other Trading card games you can learn about and play. You aren't limited. You aren't just a number. You mean something every time you walk through the door. The owners are knowledgeable in the field, and their guidance goes unmatched. I feel like this store is a safe zone for me.
