We recently went as a group and only have wonderful things to say about Phil and his facility. We called ahead and arranged tickets as a group and he was incredibly helpful and easy to work with. When we arrived, we were greeted by friendly, helpful faces and immediately immersed in an interactive and thrilling atmosphere. Reviews for BOTH attractions there following.....
Zombie Paintball Experience: PHENOMENAL! The experience is extremely immersive, and will keep your heart pumping full speed in your throat the entire way. The cast is fully involved and are extremely talented at impromptu acting, and we enjoyed every minute. We never knew what to expect and we were riding the verge between fearful tears and nervous laughter.
Zombie Escape Room: This was a great experience that will force you to use your brain and act together as a team, in an effort to make it out alive. The puzzles are well written and suitable for all ages and skill levels. The added element of the zombies was a stroke of genius (we loved you, Melvin!) and this was a GREAT way for friends to spend the evening.
Overall: HIGHLY recommended for all. It was an very safe and friendly environment and the business owners clearly have a passion for giving their customers the absolute best experience. We will 100% be back again and will recommend to all of our friends visiting Vegas.

Apart from the general hokey-ness of it all (hammy acting by people who occasionally look to want to be anywhere but here), the experience was SERIOUSLY underwhelming, and at the end rather infuriating.
The paintball guns you are given are super-cheap models that were probably bought on bulk discount at Walmart, and frequently misfire. On only 1 out of 4 stages did my marker even work, every other time either failing to fire the paintball with any pressure, or just being unloaded (you are not allowed to load your own, and the staff seem very overworked trying to manhandle you through the course).
The insult-to-injury part of it was the very end. To get "realism" out of it, the zombies do get up in your face if you don't shoot them (they need to feel the impact to "die"); which I couldn't, since my markers never worked. Eventually, in the last stage, one of them ran up and pushed me into a metal pole tent pole with a bolt sticking out, giving me a nasty cut on my side and ripping my shirt. We didn't even bother complaining about it as we were heading to a strip club afterwards and just wanted to get on with the night.
Steer clear of this place. It is very low-rent, and you feel every painful (literally and figuratively) second of...
Read moreAmazingly entertaining!!! Yes. That's correct. Five stars and three exclamation points. Enjoying the "Zombie Apocalypse Experience" with a group of friends was an adrenaline driven recipe for making priceless memories.
The cast and crew creating the apocalyptic environment do their part with the perfect combination of realism and humor. If you don't think zombie actors will scare you, try to stand your ground after you realize your gun is out of ammo...then try not to scream.
After surviving the "Apocalypse", our group participated in the "Zombie Escape Experience". I've done an "escape room" event before and I found it to be decent fun. Add better puzzles and interactive zombies taunting you with undead humor and "fun" becomes hilarious high jinx! Yeah. Try solving the escape puzzles while laughing your ass off because of snarky zombie commentary on your progress! But never forget...they still want to eat you!
The owner himself (Phil) met with us after our excursions and asked about our experience along with explaining the genesis of his his puzzles. He's genuinely interested in his customer's satisfaction and an all-around class act.
Thank you, Phil. You've got a great thing going with Combat Zone. I'll certainly be back with...
