Last Saturday, August 30, 2025, we were delighted to be part of a marriage proposal. Our future daughter-in-law spoke to the management at the Red Putter and asked if she could bring a prop to help pop the question. It was a golf flag! The Red Potter was all in! They recommended that she do the proposal on the 10th hole, which is a church. They were very enthusiastic and happy to help execute the surprise.
We have been going to the Red Putter for more than 30 years, and see it as a wonderful destination for families. Having this proposal be part of our Red Putter history makes us it love it even more....

Finally on our last night at 10:45pm, well past their close time, we stopped by just to see if we could squeeze in a quick 18. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. She allowed us a last play through even though they were closed, and we had a blast. Challenging course, fast greens, charming hole design, and a welcoming atmosphere.    Read moreThe Red Putter is a great old-fashioned mini-golf course. You have an opening and closing bridge, barn to putt through, and more simple but fun holes to play. The biggest downsides I can offer are the parking lot (small and when it's full not easy to maneuver) and the lack of options for waiting for a hole--if the group in front of you (or in front of them) is moving slower you essentially stand around waiting at the start of the hole which can be awkward for you and them.
