Employees were highly rude and blabbing in the office 6-8 feet away. I waited a good 5 minutes before I rang the bell to get their attention, one of them yelled out a flippant, “Yea, yea” with obvious disdain in her chain smoking voice while continuing to ignore the fact that there was a customer waiting. I was showing full patience as I understand that people can get busy but they were gossiping and giggling in a way that one could infer that there was most definitely no working being done. When I walked out of the store they both followed behind me, sat on the display out front and lit up cigarettes as they continued their gossip session while giving me the evil eye. I stopped by this Dollar general on the way home to see if they had any hot tamales. The store was very clean and the staff was very friendly. And of course they had the candy that I wanted.
