Dollar General — Local services in Etowah

This DG is open till 11:00 p. m. Staff is always helpful and very friendly. Fast to get people checked out, always busy it seems. New employees always start out looking fresh and full of energy, but appear worn out, overworked and stressed? My opinion. They usually don't last long at this store! Hummm They either need a pay raise to re-energize their mental and body health, or hire more employees so they aren't having to do cover eight (8) jobs at once? I don't know? I feel kinda sorry for them. They try to do a good job but are worked to death! Geeze.. Dollar General Management you have great employees representing you, give them a raise!! I love Dollar General Stores, because you can practically get anything you need, very fast, no matter where you are. Well I woke up with a extremely painful toothache, and had no aspirin. Baby chewable aspirin, is what I take. It works instantly. So, I threw on some jeans, and headed to the local Dollar General Store. It's right off the H.E. Bailey Turnpike. Even though it was early, and on a Sunday, I knew they'd probably be open. Yep! And I got the aspirin I wanted, for a dollar, and the chewable kind. Even got a compliment on my old worn out boots from a handsome guy, can't beat that! Lol. Can't beat the Dollar General Store either, for a weekend emergency, with absolutely no worry or hassle. This dollar general store has seen its ups and downs as far as good and not so good employees. Today i visited for just a few items. The store was fairly clean. The girl who checked me out has got to be the rudest dollar general employee ive ever encountered. Im not sure why she responded to me the way she did ....im 100% positive she was under the influence of something.... she snorted up her nose because it was still there on her nose when she checked me out. She made some comment about i was wasting her time with my chatter as i was swiping my card. Now i dont know what the drug policy is at DG but this girl is bad...
