Harps Food Stores — Local services in Etowah

This store took over country boy in little axe and it's horrible. They moved everything around for most of us that have lived out here since before country boy was here knew where thing we're it's a mess. Prices are much higher than they use to be. And quality is down. I feel sorry for the managers that have to listen to complaints and have no part of the problem. Things I've been buying there for years they no longer carry new things they carry are yuck. .. Everytime I go now there is an issue. Mostly charging the wrong price. Last week a package of meat was left off my checkout when I got home I noticed I didn't have it I called and talked to the manager I've known forever. I arranged to come get it the next day (after the sale was over) he had gotten in trouble for promising me the meat at that price. I felt bad, it was the checkers fault and I wanted my beef arm roast and the manager did nothing wrong. It was $10.83. They replaced it with a $4.03 pork steak. I never got the roast because it would have gone from $2.99lb on sale to regular price of $4.99lb. Then this week they had on a table in produce 2 head lettuce packaged up and the sign above it and the package it is wrapped in says ONLY $1.00 WOW they charged $2.98. "If you bought one check ur recept". When I complained when I was loading my car and in a hurry. I was told they would refund it to my credit card but she kept the recept but I got no refund! There's something wrong every visit. I went 30+yrs with no problems with country boy and nothing but problem since they took over. They also do not have them sent up to use the savins card and don't bother clipping coupons online because they are not setup to use them. I've spent hundreds of dollars that should have been taken off on a coupon I took time out to clip and their system won't give them to u. So don't waste ur time clipping them. The list goes...

I can always expect products to be in the same place I've always found product. Why some stores do that just irritates, especially when... "just running in real quick to get and go.."... Other stores, WALMART, LOVES TO MOVE THINGS AROUND EVERY TIME I GO BACK!! AHHH...Toilet paper has been moved to Nursery Dept., or similar? 1 mile from original placement!?? Ahhhh... Need Google Maps (GPS) assistance in there!!! Ahhh So, it may seem like a small things to some? But its huge to me. Thank you HARPS for keeping it consistent, and always great meat dept, fresh produce and Deli, etc. Employees are always friendliest AND HELPFUL FOR US OLDER GENERATION. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ They can make or break a business. They reflect, a mirror of that business. Give them a raise!! Credit, bonus?...

Poor service and out of alot of items...all the time..deli has gone way down hill and overpriced... Sure will elaborate..during peak food times..(lunch and dinner..they are missing 3-5 items in the chicken and extras...then let's talk price. example ..the mashed potatoes..a medium. By weight..us ridiculous. When you can go to other restaurants and get a side for less. Now let's talk okra. Used to be 1.89 a lb..now look at it...plus I don't believe anyone on evening shift knows anything about hold times on food product. Now the so called new fried corn. Got it home..took a bite...pulled off the batter.. Looked like 3 day old corn that was held under heat lamp to long...is this new method of controlling food cost and...
