L&N Depot Museum — Local services in Etowah

Decided to visit the museum because we are new to the area and have never been. Checked the hours online before arriving and it said they were open today until 4:30. When we got there at 12:40 sign said they were closed but would return at 1:00 so we figured they were on lunch and we would wait the 20 minutes. Did a pilgrimage here, as many of my Triplett relatives were born or lived in Etowah in the early part of the 20th century. Lauren, on duty that day at the musuem, was very cordial and answered all questions. She recommended to be there in the fall to take the scenic train.
