Eureka Nursing Center Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing — Local services in Eureka

I've been involved in overseeing my mother's long term care for several years as she suffered from severe Dementia/Alzheimer's disease.I made the decision to relocate her to the Eureka Nursing Center in 2015. My decision was primarily based on conversations with the administration / nursing staff, the high rating of the facility and also word of mouth from people in the area. Even with this input, it was a tough not to mention, risky decision as I live many miles from the facility.

As it turns out, I couldn't have made a better decision. In my opinion, the nursing staff at the Eureka Nursing Center is top notch. Not only did they provide excellent care for my mom but they were willing to accept my calls (literally each and every day) to get a status on mom's condition. This included all the nurses and the aides who always had a well thought out and detailed status for me without exception. I can't begin to articulate how important this was to me. I also spoke directly to the Medical Director / Doctor and again was most satisfied with his attention to my mom's well being.

During my onsite visits, I found the facility to be clean and the employees cheery, professional and more than helpful. They also watched after me during the time of my mom's passing in 2016.

Finally last but not least, I want to call out how very much I appreciated the care and attention both my mom and I received from Administrator, Sarah Waddle. I watched Sarah interact with my mom when she didn't know I was watching and she was wonderful with my mom. Sarah also assisted me with all the processes, procedures and questions along the way and this was so much appreciated.

Just want to thank the administration and staff at Eureka Nursing Center for the care they gave my uncle and aunt. The patience they showed my aunt was amazing and professional. After her passing, we were concerned how my uncle would do without her. He was not a social person, so didn’t join in on the various activities they offer, but the staff checked in on him often and he never had a complaint. His room was always clean and he was content.
