good variety. well lit and spacious

staff are a mixed bag. they're all great though really

whatever clearance items can go by the entrance are by the entrance. making for a grab bag of interesting possible purchases

tend to sell food until they are sure it's gone bad. found chocolate cake products, and highly processed meats are a no go if on discount

with the chocolate baked products they don't see the mold and keep it on the shelf. the repacked discount sausages can occasionally be spoiled already

on the other hand they often seriously discount fresh meat. using a similar system as they use for the iffy stuff. so can get some extreme deals if you know what to watch for or avoid

fresh produce and meat prices are often better then what big city - big...

This is quite possible the b st shopping experience I've had at a store. The availability of produce is amazing, and they do the best job I have ever seen keeping the shelves stocked. Not to mention their deli has food I would eat over most restaurants. Don't forget they have oriental food every Saturday! Try the general TSO chicken, it's my personal favorite, the sweet chilli is a close second...and I do mean VERY close!

We shop at G&W Foods in Eureka on occasions especially when they have a good sale on items we like. Our favorite thing about the store is the meat department. The meat prices are reasonable and affordable for our budget. The store's employees are always friendly. Eureka is a small town atmosphere but the employees there treat us like we also live in Eureka even though we live in another small town...
