I don’t even know where to start!! Kane was absolutely amazing. This was our first and ONLY stop to find THE dress for me that was within our budget. The surprise letter they got from the groom to give to me upon my arrival was so sweet. I was given a rose and me and my mom were both offered mimosas. I have never felt so attended to. The entire store was just absolutely gorgeous and their selection was so impressive. All different prices to fit anyone’s budget too!! I was worried about not feeling completely comfortable because I’ve never done anything like this before but Kane made the try ons a breeze. Super informative and was very sincere when asking me what I liked, loved, or vise versa about everything I tried on. I would & WILL recommend Rose & Bliss to any bride like me that had no idea where to start. Thanks so much for a day that me and my Mom will never ever forget! 💗
Edit on my previous review: First I’d like to say that everything I said before is completely true about that day and how special they made me feel. I’m editing my review because about a month ago we had our tux consultation, picked everything out for the groom and groomsmen and were scheduled to come back a month later for the group fitting (yesterday) My groomsmen had to request off work, my Dad had to drive up from Alabama for this fitting. We got to the appointment and were told that they unfortunately were no longer doing rentals due to quality issues that were hurting their business (completely understandable, I wouldn’t want issues on wedding week with the tuxes) My problem with this is that they said they knew 3 weeks ago that they would no longer be renting tuxes and instead of reaching out asap to anyone who was expecting rentals after they knew, contact was only attempted to tell me of this change at 12pm the DAY OF our tux fitting. I did not answer the call because I was with my mom at my dress fitting all morning away from my phone. Which wouldn’t have mattered for those who took off work and my Dad of course. I will say that the lady that broke us the news at the appointment knew that I was about to have a come apart and started calling other places to see if they could get in that day. I appreciate that. Apparently a party was thrown (that cost thousands?) to try and rectify this inconvenience (which I wasn’t invited? Lol) Why wouldn’t that money be used to buy tuxes at least for the people that were directly affected like we were? She asked me if there was anything she could do (other than calling other places) and at that point it’s like? If you’re telling me we have to buy when no one is interested in buying then no, lol. Nothing you can do. Even if they couldn’t buy everyone’s tuxes out right they could have offered to cover the extra cost it would be to buy compared to rent. Which would have only been around $150 a head. Luckily, The Earle in Owensboro (where most of us live anyway) took us that day and took very good care of us. I still will recommend this place to any bride I know but I just wish that the situation was handled...
Read morePlease do not go here for tux rentals. I don't usually write reviews (good or bad) but this experience has been worthy of a bad one. it wouldn't let me put no stars so unfortunately they get 1 star that they don't really deserve.
My husband and brother are in a wedding this weekend. We were told when they got fitted months ago that the items would be in (only a shirt and a vest that cost $90) on the Tuesday before the wedding and that they would have until Thursday at 3:00pm to try on and pick up to insure alterations should anything not fit. They said they would text us when they came in.
Tuesday- we hadn't heard anything so i called to see if they were in just in case they had the number wrong. They told me that they weren't in yet and that they would text me.
Wednesday - The groom told my husband that he had gotten a text that they were in but told him not to worry about going that day because they were closed (even though their hours show that they are open on wednesday)
Thursday - my husband and brother FINALLY get their text messages saying they were in at 11:30 am. at this point, they only have a 3 hour window to try them on to make sure they fit. My brother left work and went in at 11:50. His shirt and vest were way to small due to them ordering the wrong size. He has only lost weight since measurements so there's no way his items should be that much smaller. They assured him that it would be ready to pick up on friday. However many of the other groomsmen weren't able to pick up on time in case of alterations. Thankfully, my husbands fit him perfectly.
Friday - my brother leaves work to go to the store to pick up, and they call on the way. The guy on the phone says that there has been a "hiccup" and it wasn't sent yesterday (wouldn't give him a reason why) and that it would be delivered to the owner around 9:30a SATURDAY and they would take it to the venue. He asked what would happen if it didn't fit and the guy brushed it off like of course it would fit.
The wedding is Saturday at 3. They are getting ready at 10am. So now it's up in the air if my brother, who is the BEST MAN, will even have anything to wear to this wedding.
This has been an absolutely terrible experience so far and it isn't even over. $90 for two pieces is already a lot of money for a rental i thought anyway and now for all of this to happen is...
Read moreFrom the moment I arrived, it was a magical experience! I was traveling from Kentucky and arrived prematurely, not only was my bridal suite already prepared, Rose and Bliss also accommodated my early arrival by switching my dress attendant to Zairah. Waiting in my suite were a plethora of surprises; complimentary "wedding" themed mocktails, a snack box, a rose, and a "note from the groom" (handwritten by the attendants after my fiancé sent them a text of what he wanted included on the letter). Additionally, I was there with my matron of honor (my cousin) and her baby while she FaceTimed my family and close friends (they are all on the west coast). Zairah streamlined the process and helped me find the dress of my dreams within budget and style. The second we were in the suite, she ensured that my experience was customized to my vision for the wedding. She also went above and beyond by holding my cousin's baby while my cousin simultaneously took pictures of my favorite fits and handled FaceTiming on a different phone. Towards the end of my session, I was stuck between two dresses and decided to leave the shop for an hour so that I could discuss my options with my family and decide on "the dress". Despite leaving the shop, Zairah made arrangements and prepared ANOTHER suite for when we returned (making sure that she could fit us back in even though we didn't make a secondary appointment). She also contacted the owners of the dresses in order to hold them for us. Because the majority of my ladies were FaceTiming in and judging the dresses based on pictures sent to a group chat, Zairah brought us to the branching prom shop that had significantly better lighting so we could take as many pictures as we needed of the two dresses. After much discussion, I decided on a dress and the checkout process was streamlined and stress-free. I fully recommend Rose and Bliss Modern Bridal Shop and cannot thank Zairah enough for my wonderful...
