Really poor experience, we likely won’t return. We used to love coming here but it has really gone down hill. We arrived at 6:15 and stood by the host stand for over 10mins. Several staff members walked past and said nothing to us while tables were cleared for other guests that came in after us. Later we found an empty table and cleared it ourselves and had to wipe it ourselves. Our group of 4 ordered and my husband’s food came out over an hour before the rest of our group. Finally he had to just eat so his food wouldn’t get cold. We asked a couple times when the rest of the food would come out and finally when my dad went up he was told “the kitchen is busy” and they asked if we wanted to go boxes with our food. They then brought our food out an hour and 45min after we arrived. My husband received his dish a second time and 5min later the server came back over and said the kitchen made a mistake but “no worries we aren’t going to charge you twice”. My chimichanga was so soggy that I couldn’t eat it and sent it back asking that it be removed from the bill to which they told me that is just how they make chimichangas. My parents both ordered soup with pork and my mom’s had no meat in it just bones and fat so she couldn’t really use the tortillas that came with the dish. Very disappointing as said above we have never had this issue and had always loved coming here but the service and food was not up to par. I can’t believe we spent almost $100 on a...

I don’t understand what treatment everyone else got but it was COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than us. We sat like waiting ducks for one hour waiting for our food! Now although that might not be bad just listen to the rest. They kept messing up our orders and having to redo it. After waiting an 1hour+ they finally gave us our food. Except three of the orders were messed up. When we went in and said that the service was terrible and wanted a discount they said that we were wrong and that their mistakes were ours. Now we’re not demanding and yelling that we are right we are being civil. After refusing to discount they made us pay $146. They even added stuff that we didn’t order. Another family came in bigger than ours and they were waiting for their food as well before they left in anger and...

I was very excited about bringing my family to this restaurant. I loved the food and the service always was wonderful. However, Sandy was horrible! The jalapeño margarita had so many peppers, my daughter was chewing her drink. She messed up my son's order and said we would still have to pay for it to be replaced. The replacement was also messed up. That was removed. I have no idea what she looks like when smiling since we never saw it. She seemed aggravated immediately upon our arrival. For the first time in over thirty years, I only tipped 10% rather than my 25-30%. I was a server and bartender for years, and I've NEVER made someone pay for a...

The best tacos in St. Louis are not in St. Louis, but you can find them in this small restaurant in Fairmont City just across the river. I can safely say they have the best Mexican food in St. Louis area.. ambience is good, low key and lively! They even have a few Mexican beer on tap!! Salsa is very flavorful, though it won’t set your tongue on fire it will for sure clean out your sinuses. If you like the salsa and chips you can even buy them on your way out! I will go back every time I feel like eating tacos, because any other place, is just settling for something less

The restaurant is in back behind the grocery store . The grocery store itself is filled with any and all Mexican ingredients. The service was slow . Definitely not the Mexican food that you're used to eating as its authentic. Most of the ingredients are sourced from the grocery store itself . My fajitas plate came out warm . The steak wasnt good on it . Very tough almost to the point of being inedible . Also the tortillas dont come out with the plate . They arrive later which is odd

Have no idea why is the rating so high. I suppose to have grilled chicken breast but in the dish I saw pieces from all over the chicken. Yeah. Breast comes in chunks at this place. Was asking for avocado and sour cream and no cheese. Guess what. Got cheese and no avocado or sour cream. And no salad as well. And the word salad is in the menu. Chicken and sour cream didn't taste fresh. So Happy I have a choice of not coming here again...
