I'm not a big fan of CVS in general, as I find their prices on just about everything in the store outrageous. I also do not utilize their pharmacy, as I am still blessed with good health, and luckily not in need of any prescriptions, so there's no need to utilize their pharmacy service. I did visit this location yesterday for a Flu Vaccination, as it was close to home, and my scheduled appointment easily fit into my busy schedule. Had scheduled my appointment a few days before by calling the store. I arrived for my scheduled appointment a few minutes before, and was annoyed seeing they wanted you to check in using the phone app, which I don't have. I waited in the waiting area of the 1 Minute Clinic for a few minutes before my scheduled appointment time, then knocked on one of the doors for help. The nurse who answered said the Vaccine area was near the pharmacy, and I would have to wait in line to get checked in. Waited in the Pharmacy line, which was unbelievably long and non-moving. Finally went to the Drop Off area to check-in. The Pharmacy Tech asked for my Health Insurance cards. She's there entering my card numbers into the system, using 1 finger at a time. When she was finished, she told me the cards weren't valid there, and I couldn't get my shot there. My understanding is that Flu Shots are covered under Medicare Part B, but the clerk was clueless about this. Left this location totally disgusted, and felt that it was a complete waste of my valuable time. Don't see myself returning to this location for anything. They really need to clean up their act there on...
Read moreI don’t know what the issue is with this place lately, every time I come here there’s an issue. Either you’re waiting 20-30 minutes in line or there’s an issue with your prescription. My fiancé waited 20 minutes in line last night at around 9:00 PM to pick up her prescription and two of mine. My prescription was the same pill but two different milligrams. The pharmacist only gave her the 100 mg but for some reason, decided not to give her the 25 mg, so when she came home, I called the store and waited 20 minutes on hold To talk to somebody, when that somebody Finally answered the phone. He didn’t understand why Kyle I guess was the guy’s name didn’t give my fiancé both pills so he told me if I wanted to give him 30 minutes I could pick it up, I told him don’t worry about it, I’ll pick it up tomorrow since i had another one that wasn’t ready yet. Well I just went there and surprisingly only waited maybe not even 10 min in line because they had 3 people working the counter, but was told that my other scrip was done but not the pill from the night before that he told me that he would have ready for me. So had to wait for them to figure out what the issue was, than had to wait for them to fill it, which I’ll admit wasn’t long at all. I don’t know if management just doesn’t care or what because theres always issues with this place and it’s not just me because my dr. has said there’s been other patience of his that have issues with this particular location. If it wasn’t literally 6 blocks from my house I would go somewhere else in a heartbeat, which im truly considering...
Read moreChanged from Rite Aid years ago because service here was so much better. Since the pharmacy staff has switched, whether coincidental or otherwise, the service is repeatedly quite slow and an average wait minimum of 10 minutes to speak to an actual associate over the phone. I used to get someone on the phone promptly when calling previously. Sale line can get long and at one point I witnessed a pharmacist tell others to help with checkout multiple times and be totally ignored leaving people, including myself, visibly ill and waiting in the ever growing line. Perhaps it's different for others, but this has been my reoccuring experience and what I see others dealing with as well. It's been bad enough to prompt me to type this. Hope your experiences are better. Subtracted an additional star today as things have not gotten better. Had to wait in line an extended period with others because Sandy the pharmacist decided to move in front of another pharmacist who was checking someone out, stopping the transaction so she could talk to a friend and show pictures of her family on her phone. She was also well aware of the people in line as she made eye contact with us while still deciding to continue with her picture sharing. Why not move over after and have your convo, CHATTY SANDY? Why hold up the line and other pharmacy staff from conducting business? Shame on you and your selfish self absorbed inappropriate social hour. One elderly woman in line had an empty carriage just to help her...
