I have lived 10 minutes from Audio lab for over 6 years now and I never knew it was there. I passed by it one day and decided to check it out. Truth be told I didnt know what to expect, was this place going to be only filled with speakers costing thousands of dollars each? Will I get diluted assistance if my budget isnt considered "high end"? Am I going to be oversold? No, No, and No. I walked in and was very friendly greeted by people who have a passion in premium audio, not salesmen trying to close a sale. The staff made me feel very welcome and were very engaging in conversation about my current setup, what I would like to change about it, what my use would be for movies, music, both. Budget wasnt even brought up until they narrowed down what speakers would be good for my uses, and even then it was just another filter for them. I was never pressured to increase my budget to get a better speaker, in fact I was ready to buy a pair of new floorstanding speakers and the staff were very upfront and told me this brand designed this model speaker to meet a price point, that the older version sounds better. They steered me away from a more expensive speaker because they felt it wouldn't give me the most bang for my buck. They put a quote together for a 5.0 system and I couldnt believe it was well in my budget I had for just 2 speakers! I purchased the speakers and I am very happy with them, there is a issue with one of my new speakers and Audio Lab has been awesome with making it right, they offered me a swap for a new pair no questions asked. I brought the suspected bad speaker in for them to hear and found myself in a 20 minute home theater conversation with one of the sales people Aaron. Its very easy to just start talking to the staff and they are more than willing to answer any questions, and just enlighten you on anything home theater.
To summarize; Audio Lab has speakers from ultra high end to budget entry level.
The employees are very passionate and knowledgeable, and are not trying to max your budget out or extend it. They want you to leave with the best speakers for your house and budget.
They are great at returning calls, and finding solutions to any issue you may have. Aaron has shown me the best customer service I have ever experienced. My purchase of 5 speakers isnt even 10% the cost of one of their most expensive speakers, but I was treated like I bought 3 of them, my business is just as important to them as the high end customers.
You cant go wrong with at least just stopping in and checking the place out. This is not the kind of place that will sell you something just because its in your budget, you will leave with the best speakers for you and feel great about the purchase. Im never going anywhere else for my home theater needs again, I will be an Audiolab customer for life.

Read moreMy son got a bunch of nice LPs for xmas and so wanted to buy his first turntable. I helped him select a nice Pro-ject E1 and Audioengine bookshelfs which we found at Audiolab and ordered. I didn't receive any updates for a week, and so I emailed them asking about status, as my son was asking about them every day. I still didn't hear back. It was the holiday, so I gave them a few days and then tried calling. I was getting a little cranky at this point and pressed a poor floor sales guy about the order. He was clearly not the right person to talk to, which got me a bit worried. I figured I should cancel the order and find it somewhere else. Upon emailing a refund request, I got a very thoughtful reply from Laura, a higher level manager profusely apologizing and explaining that 2 of their customer service staff came down with Covid. She graciously agreed to refund me, but mentioned that she was able to locate both items (one was incoming) and gave me solid dates in case I wanted to keep the order. I happily agreed to. Through a very warm series of messages back and forth, she sped up their reception of the speakers and upgraded the shipping so that I ultimately received both across the country in less than a week. I was honestly blown away by how on the ball and warm and kind Laura was, especially these days when actual customer service is so rare. This was a very small order in the big scheme of things, however that didn't slow Laura down from treating me like their biggest customer. I purchased a Marantz TT15 turntable from Audiolab in August of 2020 the salesman Nick was quite helpful and I was satisfied overall with the initial transaction. The turntable table was described as an open box unit never used that the belt would be included. Fast foward to October 2020 I reach out to Audiolab and inform them the belt that was sent in defective and will not stay on the plentiom and repeatedly slips off, asked them could they sent a replacement (50.00) item i was initially told i was already sent a backup belt which I was not. This were the problem began had several email conversations with Laura whom stated works in Customer Service sends me an email at 7.56 a.m. cst telling me in Caps that I must reply to this email and confirm I will never ever ask for an additional replacement part for this turntable and if I don't they will not send the 50.00 replacement belt that they had already agreed to in previous communications. It goes without saying that I was incredibly offended by her tone and cantor in this email.I thought it was in poor taste and had a combative tone throughout. I'm sure they will try to dispute the context of my review as I mentioned earlier I have every email to confirm our conversation.
