From the very beginning, Jeffers and Leek demonstrated exceptional responsiveness. After requesting an estimate, Justin arrived promptly to assess our project—an extensive rewire of our 1905 home, which still had knob-and-tube and BX wiring. Of the four companies we contacted, they were the only ones to provide a detailed quote the next day, and their pricing was very reasonable given the scope of the work. After reviewing the estimate with Justin over the phone, we set a start date.

On the first day, Justin conducted a thorough walkthrough with his crew, outlining the project plan. They explained that 6-inch holes would be needed to run the wiring. Other contractors had suggested trenching entire walls, so Jeffers and Leek’s approach significantly eased the patching process for us. Jake and Warren got to work that same day.

Over the next 14 days, Jake took the lead in strategically fishing wiring through the house—including maneuvering within the attic knee walls—to minimize damage to walls and ceilings and keep the project on schedule. Both Jake and Warren worked diligently, rewiring the entire attic (which included a bedroom and storage room), the second floor, most of the first floor, and the basement.

As a result of their work ethic, they finished the job on time and on budget. We were very impressed with their respectfulness of working within our home.

I used them to replace an electric panel and exterior service line. I can’t tell you how easy of a process they made it. They handled EVERYTHING and knew exactly what was required from the utility company, third party Inspection, and getting everything up to proper code. The team at Jeffers & Leek Electric did a fantastic job determining a grounding problem with my service that surfaced after having my water main replaced. They arrived shortly after I called and and got right to working troubleshooting the problem. After determining my meter base and cable were at fault, the quickly worked up a estimate and scheduled an electrician to replace the faulty equipment. He worked late into the night and got everything completed by 9PM. We were happy to have lights and heat on a very cold night.
