I will never recommend this gym to anyone. I went in to cancel my membership, was told it was no problem at all, only to find I had continued being charged three months after the day I cancelled. When I called to correct the mistake and request a reimbursement for the 3 months I was charged, the manager I spoke with was extremely rude, condescending, and disrespectful. He refused to take responsibility for the mistake and blamed the owner of the now closed gym I was transferred from, even offered to give me her cell phone number to call to complain to her. I never saw a penny from them and had to call my bank to cancel my card. So disappointed in the lack of professionalism from this gym. I've belonged to multiple gyms during the past 40 years. This is a really nice unpretentious, down to earth gym to work out at. Great selection of cardio and weight lifting equipment. New owner, Jay, is extremely helpful. Very unusual for a gym owner to provide helpful workout tips and techniques. The clientele of this gym is from all different ages and fitness levels. Very friendly and willing to help out if you need a spotter or have a question. Gym is kept really clean. Men's locker room is always clean and nice lockers to store your stuff in while you work out. When I started to go to USA fitness, the experience was not enjoyable. I am somewhat of a clean freak and no one, even in a pandemic, would take the time to wash down the equipment. I turned to anytime fitness and could not have been happier. The thing that really got my goat was when I tried canceling at USA fitness. At first they tell you that it’s fine, your membership will be canceled. Then expect the person to be to naive to check their bank statements.
