Dollar General — Local services in Farmersburg

The manager works her butt off but there’s a young girl always behind the counter complaining about being broke practically begging people to buy her candy and other snacks every time I’ve went in that store. Her and the male that works there also make it impossible to use your coupons, they don’t wait to let you put your number in then say it’s to late. Also the guy that works at this location never smiles, has no customer service knowledge at all he just looks or stares at you like he thinks everyone is stupid and claims he doesn’t know how to let you put your number in for coupons after he hits total but doesn’t give you the time to do it if you buy less than 3 or 4 things. It’s like trying to beat them to hurry and put a number in which is maddening when you’re trying to coupon or just save money, why not ask do you have a phone number and save everyone the trouble but he’s too busy trying to walk around doing nothing and she’s to busy complaining to everybody Both the Jenny’s in this store do a remarkable job but the rest need better training in customer service. Aisles in the store always a mess, boxes all over and staff stocking while trying to shop were rude. I was looking to purchase laundry products and they kept stepping in front of me to put product away with nothing as much as an excuse me being said. Numerous times have tried to call the store and have gotten a recording every time. Cashier is never at checkout, have to wander around store looking for someone to check you out. All of the young people that work at the Farmersburg Dollar General a very helpful and courteous! I am a little bit disabled and they always go out of their way to help me. They go as far to put my bags of items that I have purchased and to buy cart and walk out to the car with me and load them into my car.
