Farmington Senior Center — Local services in Farmington

This place is an absolute God send. They have given us so many needed items for my mother-in-law who lives with us due to end stage vascular dementia and severe bladder/bowl incontinence. As a full time caregiver with no outside help, all I can say is I leave this amazing place in tears of total gratitude for the diapers, bed pads, raised toliet seats, gait belts, shower grips, books, exercise equipment, and more that they have provided. I'm not kidding, I'm in tears before I'm out of the parking lot. Thank you so much for all you do for us and other seniors in CT. To anyone reading this, please donate your parents and grandparents stuff to this place and donate other supplies or money. Seniors need so much and have so little. The Farmington Senior Center has so many awesome programs for seniors. From various day trips, wood carving, pool table with separate days for women & men, table games, bingo, and so many other offerings to choose from. The 1 my wife and I use the most is the work out room. There is a personal trainer available 3 days a week. He provides instruction on the equipment available and the proper use of it.
