We recently purchased a gas stove from Jake's Appliance Store at the Mount Blue Shopping Center, and overall, we were pleased with our experience. The store was nicely set up and clean, and the staff were very friendly and approachable. We found a decent variety of gas stoves to choose from, and the prices were reasonable, (they price match other stores) which helped us find a model that fit our needs and budget. The sales process was smooth, and the employees were helpful and attentive. However, the only downside so far is that we were told we would receive a phone call the night before delivery to confirm the delivery time window for the following day, but we never received a call. This lack of communication caused some uncertainty and inconvenience. Hopefully, this is just a minor oversight and not a recurring issue. Despite this communication issue, we would still recommend Jake's Appliance Store to anyone in the Farmington area looking for a new appliance, as the in-store experience was positive. The next. Morning we spoke with Jake how about not receiving our phone Call the night before to confirm delivery time window for the next day. He sounded surprised by that and gave us an estimated delivery time between 2:30 and 3:15pm. By 4:15 we had not heard about the delivery and no sign of the delivery truck. (We're had a light snowstorm about 3 inches) we called Jake figuring they were running behind. Jake again seemed surprised it hadn't been delivered yet. He said he would call the delivery guys and find out what was going on, and would call us back. After about 20 minutes Jake called back and informed us the delivery truck was stuck in another drive way, but was about to get pulled out. He asked of they could deliver the next morning instead (we have been without a stove for over a week) we agreed but asked that the delivery charge be refunded as it wasn't going to be deliver on the day we were promised, as we felt waiting all afternoon and rearranging our schedule now for another day asking for some compensation for the inconvenience seemed reasonable as it was another day my partner had to take time off from work. Jake and us agreed to that, and it was such a small light snow we felt it should have been delivered on the agreed day., after all it is Maine. Jake did offer to put it in his truck to get it out to us due to the fact we again hadn't had a stove in over a week, that was very kind of him to offer but it was going to be getting dark soon and we already wasted the day, what's one more night without a stove at this point. Now we had to see if my partner could get the next morning off for the new delivery day and time. (Fortunately he was able to) Jake's response to personally deliver the stove in his own truck was commendable and very generous. when we opted for next-day delivery, refunded the delivery fee. We appreciate their commitment to customer satisfaction and their willingness to resolve the issue fairly. Despite the delivery hiccup, we recommend supporting this local business." 5 star company!!

I moved to Livermore Falls recently. I live in a small place and have been looking for a kitchen/dining table for 2 years. Finally found Jakes and the perfect table! They went above and beyond... He didn't have it in stock and had a couple of "sets" on order. These "sets" included the table and the chairs. He literally let me have the table that was the only display they had so that I could finally have a decent table! He didn't know how he changed the quality of what I was going through for the last 2 almost 3 years but he was willing to make a sacrifice since he has no complete display at this point! Great person. The quality of the table really shocked me when I got it home. Very solid! The price was excellent for a quality piece of furniture....

We had a great experience at Jake's furniture. We came in looking for a king and queen mattress and were hoping to take it home today but delivery wasn't available until Tuesday. Jake offered to use his own truck to personally deliver our mattresses and box spring. Customer service throughout the store was excellent and we'll be back to furnish the rest of our home. 10/10 would recommend!...
