I stumbled across Road Runner Flight School in early 2021 while searching the internet for local flight schools. I was able to quickly get in touch with Michael & get a good idea of how the Private Pilot License process works. I think I took my discovery flight the following week & was hooked instantly. Started lessons in May of 2021 & finished up my PPL in September. I trained with both Michael & Ricardo, both instructors are exceptional pilots & excellent to train with! The ground school classes, flight instructions & general guidance is top of the line. I can’t say enough good things about these folks, great people, running a great business! After obtaining my PPL I continued to train with Michael to acquire my tail dragger endorsement. Whatever your pilot needs are, this place can help get you there.

I started lessons with Road Runner truly with no idea what I was doing or getting into. Flying at that time was something to try and see if I like it. Within the first 5 flights, I was addicted. In 6 months, I got my Private Pilot License while also working a full time job. I need to give a big shoutout to my instructor, Michael Hulse, as I could not have met this timeline without him. He worked on my timeline, day or night. He always put huge care toward safety, fun, and even getting the absolute most out of my cost of flying. The staff at Roadrunner are all beyond amazing! The instructors teaching style is more like a casual conversation than a scripted lecture. The information is presented clearly and efficiently in a custom manner that matches your learning style. As far as Farmington goes, there's no better place to train for your pilots license. Farmington airport offers the best balance of workload, weather, elevation, and terrain to make you the best balanced pilot.
