Had brought a friend an hour and a half from our home for an appointment here they requested to be 15 minutes early. She had knee surgery the week before and the Dr. forgot the appointment had been rescheduled a month and a half prior. I took the day off and had had made special arrangements for my friend. Now we got here early had to wait for the Dr. to arrive and wait for him to prep for an 8 hour test and forget obligations later in the evening. We showed up at 8:15 for a 8:30 appointment and he said he couldn't make it until 9:45. Went to butchers & Bakers. Had an ok meal. Huge open space. A little loud. Wait staff was good. Food was just ok. Had the porterhouse. Ordered medium-rare and it came almost well done. It was slices very thin for a porterhouse. Grilled brussel were dry, hard and chewy. Price was $40. They used to brag about local source food and all hand made products. They don't anymore. Friday nights are hit or miss here, but for some reason Saturday nights are usually a great crowd.
