Dollar General — Local services in Fermanagh Township

I love the store itself but I feel like the store manager needs to step it up a bit. I went in there the other day, there was an elderly man working with a back brace and the manager asked him to take all of the expired milk out of the fridge by himself. I feel like he needs an easier job, I wouldn't recommend asking an elderly man to pick up heavy things especially when you know he has a hard time making his way around. When I went in there there was only two people in the store (One at the register, one stalking shelves) But they both had very kind faces and were very helpful. However, the place is poorly understaffed and you can tell their employees need trained a little longer, They're doing great they just need more experience. I love this store! Everyone is super nice! I always get help when I ask for it. The manager always has a smile when he sees a customer. I get a very personal experience. They remember who I am and with all this going, they take the time to ask me how my kids and mom are doing because they know the are usually with me. I never have any problems in this store. Always clean and polite...

It's a mess. There is a whole aisle you can't pass through because it's full of return carts. You can't tell what each aisle is supposed to be for because so many other products have been left on the counters and not returned to the proper shelves. Short staffed though not for lack of trying to hire. Every isle has a "now hiring" sign taped up to the end of it....
