Been here many, many times, and usually the service is good and the food is decent. This morning I was helped by someone who must have gotten up on the wrong side of the bed. While waiting for some items to be cooked, she went to ring me up for the other items I had. I told her we could wait ringing the first stuff up and just ring it all up together when the items came out of the kitchen. She seemed frustrated and I asked her what was wrong - she told me she didn't like the way I was talking to her, and that I was being condescending - I told her I was just saying we could ring it all up at one time, she mumbled something about just doing what she'd been told. I have no idea what triggered her, being condescending is not my style, so go figure. Hard to remember when I've ever been treated so rudely in a food establishment before. Dont let the small town look deceive you , the service and the food is above and beyond any expectation you may have. Greasy fried food ? No! We stopped here on our way to Tacoma and had the fish and chips, made with cod ,not tilipia , so delicous we went back again for more. Unfortunately they were out but they were happy to make us some fresh and it was ready under 15 minutes with a price that cant be beat at 6 or 7 bucks .The employees are always friendly and seem to actually like their job , very refreshing. Horrible customer service!!! Rude and rushed. Have been in the area for a week on a job and am treated like trash every time i walk in the door. One of the women that work there actually told me that i had "one minute to make my selection and move on" when i inquired about her hostility she said "youve been here for hours and have yet to buy anything". I had been there earlier on my lunch and did make a purchase...but then left and had walked in the doors 3 minutes prior to her approaching me. Perhaps she should pay better attention.
