Metal Roof Specialties, Inc. — Local services in Fife

I am a general contractor, I work almost exclusively on residential projects. I was contacted about a very large steel building repair that included several thousand square feet of replacement siding and roofing I called metal roof specialties for an estimate on materials. I gave the rough dimensions to Jerry and he asked me what the address was so he could look it up, and within a minute of hanging up Jerry called right back and told me that based on his measurements that he had gotten off of Google Earth that my square footage was off. Jerry help me figure out the correct material square footage, even though it was totally my miscalculation, and when his estimate came several days later, not only the sheet metal, but it included every screw, trim ,caulking sealant, everything just based on an initial square foot from him looking it up on Google Earth and it was spot on. This was all taking place at the same time there were materials shortages staffing shortages etc I was kind of in a time crunch to get started and they did not have a delivery person available so Jerry,the owner, took time out of his day,and brought all my material over and delivered it to me personally. Not only was I impressed with their materials but with this sheer absolute professionalism kindness and friendliness of all of their staff I cannot recommend these guys...

Everyone else in the office was extremely accommodating any time I called in, although I worked almost exclusively with Haley. She gave me an initial estimate based on a satellite view, and then recommended a contractor to use who she advised would take the final measurements.

I've had several requests, and questions regarding the warranty and installation of the product and received answers within 24-48 hours.

While I trust our contractor, I have no idea what goes into making sure everything is done properly, and it is one of the biggest investments I have made in our home, so being able to send her some pictures of concerns I had with the installation and having a 2nd opinion from an expert (And the company that is providing the warranty!) really set me at ease.

I would highly recommend working with this group on future projects!

I just purchased a new metal "standing seam" roof for my detached garage/shop from Metalroof Speacilties. I decided to install myself with some friends helping. The experience with purchase, quick delivery, tech. assist during install, and even a "emergent custom flashing order" at last minute during install, went excellent! I had very limited experience with metal roofs, and wanted to save the install money. Jerry was excellent at fielding all my multiple "question" calls throughout the entire process. Hailey was very friendly and helpful as well! Jerry even helped me out by loaning me some tools for a couple things so I didnt have to purchase/rent them! NOWHERE do I EVER get that kind of help/customer service. Thanks so much MRS! Very happy with the end product, and nice to have "piece of mind" that I wont ever have to worry about the roof again! Def. going to get a bid from them on doing the house...
