I feel really bad because initially I posted a negative review based on what I now realize was a huge misunderstanding. In addition I also realized that the misunderstanding was my fault based off inaccurate information I received from a third party. We bought something and were not able to use it because of the way my house is set up (not because there is anything wrong with the item) and wanted to return it, not realizing at first, that they have a no return policy on special ordered items etc. I paid with American Express and called them up explaining that we didn’t know we couldn’t return it and that it had never been used or taken out of the box . I asked if they could help mediate a resolution where we could return it and clearly explained the situation, I later put it into writing with Amex so there was no room for misunderstanding. Upon receiving all the documents from American Express and Vacuums etc recently, I realize that Amex incorrectly reported it that we had returned the purchase and were never refunded, which is completely wrong. I never said that or wrote that to Amex and now I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND why Vacuums etc initially reacted the way they did. We simply wanted to return it and didn’t realize that they can’t do returns based on state laws etc. My Dad bought the system using my card (with my permission) and I believe now that David did inform him of the no return policy (my Dad is hard of hearing and I think he just didn’t hear him and didn’t realize that was the return policy, but to be fair I NOW SEE THAT IT IS CLEARLY printed on the receipts about the no return policy. I also spoke to David today and he was exceptionally nice and professional. He clearly explained the situation and their policy and was really kind when he really didn’t have to be. So based on the FACTS of the situation and how nice David was when I spoke to them I am happy to give them an excellent rating and review. I wish I would have just called him in the first place because it would have avoided the giant misunderstanding and I can’t apologize enough for the inconvenience it caused Vacuums etc. Hindsight is always 20/20 and if you could see me right now my face is bright red because of embarrassment lolđź¤. I sincerely apologize to Vacuums etc and anyone that read my initial review and for any inconvenience it caused. After speaking to David, I realized that this is a really nice business that I look forward to shopping with again. Thank you guys for your help, I really don’t think the average business would have been as nice and understanding as they were. Especially since the misunderstanding is essentially my fault for going through a third party instead of reaching out to Vacuums etc, first for help. This really is a Great company and great service! I truly would recommend them to anyone. Thanks...
Read moreI have a Dyson DC-28 that is still under warranty. The power light would start blinking when powered up about half of the time and when that occurred the vacuum would have no suction. I would have to power it down and power it back up and repeat that process until the power light didn’t blink at which time the vacuum would work fine until powered down again. I called Dyson and they told me the problem was covered under warranty and that I could take the vacuum to the warranty facility in Kirkland, take it to a UPS store where they would box it up and send it to Kirkland or take it to Vacuums Etc who is an authorized Dyson repair center. I took it to Vacuums Etc. I was immediately told that my problem would not be covered under warranty and that Vacuums Etc could refurbish it and get it all fixed up for a fee. I don’t recall the exact fee, but in the neighborhood of $75. I was also told that Vacuums Etc had a much better vacuum for me and they would sell it to me for a deep discount. I elected not to leave my vacuum at Vacuums Etc and instead took it to the UPS store where it was shipped to the repair facility in Kirkland. Within a week my vacuum was shipped back to me all repaired and refurbished and works just fine. The repair cost me absolutely nothing since my Dyson was under warranty. Beware of Vacuums Etc. They have no interest in fixing your problem at the least expense for you. They have one goal and one goal only – to sell you...

I inherited an electric fireplace recently, and knowing nothing about them was freaked out when I found it to make a terrible noise when turned on. Googling for answers led me to this business, though I actually live way far off in Kentucky. Thanks to the business’s website and videos, I quickly diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts through their site. When I received the parts (quicker than I expected and packaged very nicely), I used one of their how to videos to take the fireplace apart and - started to - put it back together. I encountered a slight difference I thought that was keeping me from completing the job, and so I called them for help and honestly kind of expected them to be like other businesses and maybe try to get me to buy another part or pay to have it fixed or something. The lovely woman who answered my call was SO patient on the phone as I stumbled through trying to explain my issue (with no experience or vocabulary for electronic parts). She walked me through everything, and soon the problem was solved. The whole time she was so polite, so patient, and so personable even. I’m sure she must have had other things to do, but she treated me like she had all the time in the world for me!
10/10 love them. Made my life so easy and were so...
