I was only a student here for 2.5 years but the skills I learned here have stuck with me my whole life so far! The first and most important skill is crying on command. I can now have a mental breakdown on the inside, while staying completely sane on the outside. Their teaching method is to have the other kids yell profanities at you in the hallway in the mornings. Then in the afternoon, having them kick you out of the cafeteria, but then when you go and sit in the hallway, have the teachers tell you to get back into the cafeteria or else you'll get punished. Academics was okay I guess? My grades were always pretty high before and after going to school here, but during my time at Monty Tech my grades were at an all time low. This is great, because as someone who values diversity, I can now look at my transcript with a sense of satisfaction. Shop was the best part! I picked culinary, and I learned way more than just how to fry up a delicious octopus. I learned that there are these USB sticks that when you shake them they light up and change colors! You can also smoke them but I think that's a secondary function. Speaking of drugs, despite "very thorough" drug searches that took place, there was somehow still marijuana everywhere! I almost expected to smell it when I walked into school. At least I knew there wasn't a skunk in the building! The guidance counselors here are also excellent and may be low-key psychic. The school had previously accepted VA benefits. As of this year, 2024, they have now tried denying VA Benefits due to their negligence on how the VA benefits are filed. Furthermore, they had Patrisha Woodliff, who had been previously dealing with my education benefits, and I found out she was never certified to handle VA benefits. Due to this, Patrisha Woodliff was unlawfully filing VA benefits. Furthermore, Ms. Woodliff tried to falsely state how my benefits from the VA worked to me. However, to be clear, she is not certified to hand VA benefits. Furthermore, when superintendent Thomas Browne was made aware of this situation, he tried to create a claim that Ms. Woodliff was correct. It was not until I sent Mr. Browne clarification on how VA benefits work and a site for reviewal did he realize Patrisha Woodliff was not only wrong but was not certified to handle such benefits. He then proceeded to become confrontational via email after this. Claiming that he wanted a meeting and at first confirmed that security would not be present. I notified him that security has no business being there for the meeting due to this a private matter. Furthermore, I notified him it would be recorded, and he tried to deny me access to recording such a meeting.
