This was the worst nail place I’ve ever been to. I’m from out-of-state and only came here due to the high ratings on google. I walked-in as they say they’re welcome and ended up waiting half an hour before someone even looked my way. I wanted white acrylics and was told they don’t offer that service. I then wanted ‘fake nails’ as the woman put it and she would NOT let me, saying that my nails were too healthy for fake nails. I agreed because she was very nice and at this point I just wanted my nails done so I could leave. The actual process took an hour and my nails ended up looking sloppy and chunky. I felt like someone put icing on my fingernails. There was weird crusty residue left under the nail that she didn’t clean and she went so hard with the tools that two of my nails started bleeding immediately. Even grosser, her nails began to bleed and she was not wearing gloves. I was mortified from seeing her blood as it was unsanitary. Over the next few days, the skin around my nails began to heal... four of my five fingers had been cut and scabbed over. Fingers crossed they don’t get infected.. I’ve had to protect them from all the water I have swam in. I am still utterly disappointed with the service. I would not recommend coming...

Wow! What a treat, what a gem! Vacationing from Maine, I needed my gel manicure redone. I knew it might be a painful journey as I’d bitten several nail & cuticles to the edge of bleeding. I found Maria, Sunny Nails, online. I knew I could be taking a chance but, made an appointment. Maria is a beautiful delightful person & a skilled perfectionist in her craft. She was extremely gentle with my wounded cuticles & I noted the care she took, using clean sanitized tools as she worked. I wish I could take her home with me. I love the work she did to repair my nails (they’re beautiful!) & I so enjoyed my “visit” with her. Looking forward to fitting in one more visit before returning to Maine. Thank you Maria! I’ll never forget you!

Follow Up: The gel on my nails was extremely thick & started popping off of my nails the 2nd week after my manicure. My nails were paper thin under the gel, tearing & folding back for weeks. It’s now the end of August & my nails still haven’t grown out to their normal thickness. Google says it takes about 6 months to fully grow out. I just loved Maria. Maria is Amazing,she takes her time and pays attention to details. She went above and beyond to make me feel confident about my nails which I’ve never had anyone do for me. I’ve been to hundreds of nail salons trying to find the right one.. I don’t have the prettiest hands or nails so I’m very cautious about who I go to, and let me tell you… I’ve never had the experience as I did with Maria. Although i was a little late for my appointment she welcomed me in with open arms, we talked ALOT, and got to learn about each others culture and background.
