Flagstaff Blues & Brews — Local services in Flagstaff

We've been attending Flagstaff Blues and Brews Festival almost every year since it started in 2013! Every year the festival offers a variety of blues artists. The venue is big enough to have plenty of dance room and seating, yet quaint enough to not make you feel lost in a sea of people. We arrive early both days to meet up with friends we've made, who also arrive early at the front gate! It's a fun time to catch up with people you see only once a year, but who always says, "Hey! I know you! What festivals have you been to since last year?" You settle in at your favorite spot and know you are in a safe, clean place for the 2 day festival. The beer is flowing, food vendors are cooking it up and it's party time! The 10 year anniversary is this year and it's a festival you don't want to miss! Great day, but.... Here are some pointers for a better festival: Parking and shuttle- there seemed to be only 1 shuttle bus. Driver said it was forty minutes round trip due to route 40 lane closure. We had to leave Samantha Fish's great set forty minutes before the end so we could stand in a line for the shuttle bus to make sure we could get back to our car. That was not good at all.

Despite getting to the fest by 3pm, there were no programs left and many t-shirts were sold out already. An HOUR into the festivals! So two more examples of poor planning.

And a big sign up front that said "band merchandise" with nothing ever being there but a single cd on sale for Albert Cummings.

Flagstaff Blues and Brews!! What more can one say? And right here in Flagstaff!! Top notch acts. Sound quality is amazing! All the vendors, the employees, the volunteers are just so durn happy we’re all there. Not to mention the performers. They show up to put their best foot forward and leave absolutely nothing on the table. My self, my girl and a hand full of local heads show up year after year and are never disappointed. I had the pleasure of making some time to volunteer at a booth in 2023 and I head a few times “This is amazing!
