WNC Agricultural Center - Boone Building — Local services in Fletcher

I give the AG center 5 stars. They have a lot going on there all the time. As far as the gun show they have there who ever is in charge needs to tell the vendors who are selling guns speak to the people for heaven sake. If people are going to come and purchase guns and knife's and least the people who are selling them could speak to you when you walk up to the table. I spent over 2 hours there Saturday and in those 2 hours 3 vendors spoke when I came to there table. Some of them act like you may not be good enough to purchase anything from them. When I go back i will visit the 3 vendors who spoke to me and appericated me stopping at there table. If you want to sell something and want return customers a friendly Hello goes a long way at least smile and acknowledge when someone walks up instead of acting like you are a bother you will get a lot more...

Two big buildings with outdoor spaces between plus smaller bldgs. Large horse stall section puts parking only on one side with some walking and lines. Windy Winter area but hot inside so dress in layers. Nice cafeteria.

Easy to find across from Fletcher's (20 mins S of Asheville) airport. Closest "Big Indoor Event Venue" to Asheville that I know of. Used for Indoor/Outdoor Agriculture, RV, Remodel, Gun, Christmas shows, etc, similar to a small State Fairground but newer and cleaner. Well cared for.

STAR RATING: The awkward building layout vs parking typical of Gov designs and distance outside Asheville (which can have an affect on local attendance for some shows) are the only reasons I leave...

We are vendors at This the season Christmas craft show. We were told by the Agg center in March that the camping would be $35 dollar a night during this show and they told us we could pay when we got here. So when we got here we set up the camper on Thursday than went to set up our booth. When I went to pay for our space they said it would be $60 dollars per night than processed to say $240 for the weekend. I would pay for the three nights $180 they took the check for 3 nights.
