Food Lion — Local services in Florence

So disgusted. Picked up 2 packs of meat that were marked as good by today (11/3). Opened one this morning and the meat was rotten. Couldn’t salvage any because it all rank of decay. Opened the other pack I planned to freeze and while some browning is normal for oxidation, it STANK. My fridge is working fine, my other purchases are all still good, but in this economy, I can’t afford to throw away money on meat. I worry that these packs weren’t kept chilled properly, as they came from the same meat section, & the other meat I bought from a neighboring section is still good this morning. I came in at 9:20 to the customer service counter tonight and stood there for a few minutes before requesting to be assisted.
