Positano Italian Deli — Restaurant in Florence

My family and I ordered a variety of subs we had The Godfather, meatball and sausage and peppers. Personally the godfather was dry, it does comes with meat, cheese, lettuce and oil & vinegar but it’s missing something like fresh red onions or something to give it a pop! I also wonder because it’s a cold sub maybe I’ll change my mind trying one of their hot subs. My sister in law and father had the sausage and peppers and absolutely loved it! My brother had the meatball and was not the biggest fan. We also tried the pasta salad which was more oil than vinegar but the oil took over and was not our favorite. However the cashier was very friendly and atmosphere was nice, but for $14 a sub which you do get a big portion I would expect more. Definitely need a redemption, I did enjoy the grocery area it...

Greeted at the door by the owner during lunch which was unexpected. There was a variety of choices of salads, subs, and desserts, but not to many where you struggle to make a decision. The grocery side had things you wouldn't find at your town super market which is nice. Staff all had a great smile and were friendly, most importantly they were all helpful and didn't rush you.

Food - had the Godfather, per recommendation, it was great! $17 for a sub a bit pricey, but you can tell quality ingredients, and you're getting what you pay for, my only advice, include a sm cup of pasta salad/soup, or bag of chips with the sub. Also, could do a lunch special, 1/2 sub w/ chips, pasta salad, or soup and I think that would go well too.
