Cabana Beach Club — Local services in Florida

It was our very first time ever dining at the Cabana Club's Sea Porch and selected to dine there because of a birthday celebration. We had been looking forward to this all week. Unfortunately, we had the worst dining experience I've ever had anywhere! Our server was unpleasant, not friendly in any manner, non attentive and made us feel very uncomfortable the whole time! She did nothing to make us feel like we were celebrating in any way, we felt like a burden and rushed. I don't even know where to begin and end with her awful service! Then, our mother's had been waiting to enjoy the crab cakes all week and after they were ordered she came back later to tell us they were out! Omg Are you serious! Food comes out and none of it is worth raving about! Fish was dry, potatoes were dry couscous was bad had to send back. At this point the night was ruined and we couldn't get out of there fast enough! No managers around to talk...

Went on the new building's opening day to the public, very nice new facility, friendly staff. The outdoor roof top bar has a beautiful view, but zero shade. Some umbrellas would be nice. The seating area was surrounded by lightening rods which is not the most comfortable feeling while sitting on the highest place for miles on the beach. The wine glasses have a weird outward slopping lip around a narrowed opening, so drink carefully. The red wine was actually served ambient air temperature which was around 97F at the time, so had to drink it on ice. On the way down, took the stairs which looked to be around 30 years without cleaning, let alone a paint job. Overall a great new spot at the beach, with some kinks...

Private beach access and pool. Food taste great and portions are large but the wait time is 40+ minutes if not busy and 60+ minutes if busy. This last time, there were only 2 families in front of us. We ordered 1 plate of chicken nachos at 6:34pm and food didn't come until 7:18pm. Also, there isn't many shaded tables so you will have to sit and wait in the sun. Hopefully the pool is open but it gets overcrowded and it closed early 2 days in a row. They offer rentable surfboards, body boards, paddle boards, and kayaks but no activities such as jet skis, parasailing, tubing, or...
