America's Thrift Stores & Donation Center — Local services in Foley

I cannot vouch for the inside of this store, but we were impressed with the young man who assisted us with our donations outside. I had initially planned on making a drop off at the Waterfront Mission across the street but when I arrived with the vehicle filled with an entire closet of clothing, no one would acknowledge I was standing there waiting to unload. The man that saw me there—after I said “hello” to him—proceed to take a smoke break. So we left and tried Americas Thrift. The young man that helped us there was kind, polite, and professional. He was out the door to help unload before I even had the car engine off and had a receipt ready just as fast. Love love love this store. I found ALL that I was looking for and much much more. I have never been so impressed and from a second hand store. Surprisingly, I’d rather shop here over any designer store because the merchandise they have isnt limited to that one particular brand. They have a broad variety of name brands and all in one location. The quality is unbeatable and when it comes down to garments, they don’t look or feel like consignment and have definitely been looked over for holes and little nicks and stains before being placed on shelf. Some of the items still had original price tags and you can definitely tell that they don’t just put any ole garment on a hanger and try and sell it. I am 100 percent satisfied and have found my number 1 store...

This chain of thrift stores was poised to be my new favorite store. Extremely organized and clean, very easy to shop for clothes, as everything is categorized both by item type and size. However, on my most recent trip, I found out they closed the dressing room again due to COVID. There was no sign out front and the dressing room is tucked away in a corner, so I only found out after I spent an hour and had a full cart of stuff to try on. It was very aggravating as I drove an hour to shop here (plus the outlets), so it was a huge waste of time. I won’t try again unless confirming in advance they’ve reopened dressing rooms.
