This place is very unhelpful and unorganized. Brought my child in for something I would consider a minor condition with a topical ineffective treatment and an oral effective treatment. He is the doctor he knows best right? No! The topical did nothing. We call several days in a row to speak with the doctor about getting the oral and are ignored we finally get a different doctor within the same building who is willing to see us. She seemed very helpful and willing to give us the oral treatment even thought the first doctor told her multiple inaccurate facts about my child and the condition to attempt to talk her out of it. Then she sends us to do bloodwork and to pick up medications the next day but does not call them in. Took off work to bring my child to do bloodwork that’s was never called in now I have to take off again on Monday to take my child for bloodwork all the while his condition is getting worse and would probably be gone by now if the first doctor was worth anything. I saw Laura Read at the clinic for my annual wellness exam. She was the only one available within a reasonable amount of time. The exam consisted of her reading off a list of inane questions from a sheet of paper.I had to ask her to at least look in my ears because I thought I might have an infection.I did and she prescribed an antibiotic. Now she is refusing to refill a Rx because she feels I can get it OTC.I tried to explain that Dr Berthelot prescribed this medication precisely because OTC wasn't working but she thinks she has more knowledge than Dr Berthelot.I will be looking into Oschner Health Center for my future medical needs It is a shame because Dr Berthelot and Dr James were excellent...

Staff are very professional and personable. They have a nurse on staff just to take care of urgent care cases. They are also networked with oschner databases, which was very helpful as my family transitioned to the area. They accept Tricare and are familiar with military health care.

I can't say enough about the ladies at the front desk. They have helped or family time and again with admirable patience and care. Dr. James is amazing and awesome with our kids.

Wait times are typically short and the waiting area is spacious enough not make you feel claustrophobic. Parking lot is a little snug, but so far we've never had an issue parking our dual...
