I have been going to Discount Alley for about 5 years now, and they have been incredible. There is a review here on Google that talks about how they aren't so much of a discount store, and I both disagree and agree. It is rare, but sometimes their store price isn't really much better. I once bought a food saver for only 10 dollars off the Costco savings price (65 jnstead of 75), and it was missing a functional accessory (one that wasn't necessary). But where I disagree is when their customer service will barter with you (as long as they are a manager), or when you look up some of the prices for these items and show them to the employees. I was just there 2 days ago and I bought a Kohler kitchen faucet that had a stainless finish for half the price I would have paid at Home Depot! Heck, the guy selling it to me offered me 10 dollars off for the heck of it (I didn't even ask!) and the faucet was and still is in perfect condition. I also once bought a return from Home Depot, a normal sized 1/2" DeWalt Hammer Drill. The only thing missing from it was a depth gauge rod, and as a result I bought it for 70% of the original price in store and I still use it! The main thing is to know that you aren't going to a department store with all the options at full cost: this is more like going to a Habitat for Humanity: Restore, but instead of used items, it's either returns or surplus that went unsold that they cleared off other stores' shelves. This also means that their supply is seasonal most of the time, but the most common things I have found have been home goods, tools, appliances, and household hardware (toilets, faucets light fixtures, etc.). 10/10, big recommend. The photos were my purchase and installation of the faucet I just purchased.
Update: the faucet I bought was also a Costco buy, so the cost with savings was 100 dollars, thus why the guy gave me additional savings. What can be concluded is that Discount Alley marginally beats Costco on prices (without a Costco card) but doesn't allow you to have warranty claims due to it not being considered brand new by distributor. Again, it comes down to bartering and knowledge. It worked out well for me, but if you have the knowledge you can usually barter for better...

Read moreEverything in the store has been marked down. Several things look like they come from Home Depot. Other things from other locations. The store constantly turns stuff over so if you see it today you might want to buy it since it might not be in the store after today. Some items have missing parts. It sounds like the owner will give additional discounts if it is necessary. They have TVs, dishes, lamps, stationary, tools, painting supplies, baby stuff and the...
